I love how he's using the arrow keys.
This just made me think: Portal 3 better have time travel. It would not only make sense physics-wise, but I think it would also work perfectly gameplay-wise (not to mention plot-wise). If you have portals that go backwards in time, you could do all sorts of crazy things. Like all those puzzles where "you need to press two buttons at once, then go through the door" - instead of planting two cubes on there, just stand on one for a bit, open a portal to the past, go stand on the other one for a bit, then go back again and walk through the door you're holding open.
They actually said in The Final Hours of Portal 2 that they tried that, but it ended up not giving that "Holy shit, that actually worked and I solved it oh god I am so fucking satisfied" feeling, so they scrapped it.
my friend does physics at the university of nottingham, wonder if he knows those people.
Spacetime? SPACE? SPAAAAAAAACEEEEEEEEEEE
this is cool :D
SPEHS! heh, he used the arrowkeys to move.

I love how he's using the arrow keys.
What if he's a lefty?
Interesting. I second that he should do a "Let's play" of this game.

So, word of advice: If you meet yourself on the testing track, don't make eye contact. Lab boys tell me that'll wipe out time. Entirely. Forward and backward. So do both of yourselves a favor and just let that handsome devil go about his business." - Cave Johnson
I love the way they cut off "math" parts, good british humor :buddy: Oh and this:

This was a rather good watch. Dat frame rate :geno:
How long could it take to study a game that you beat in 3 hours? Incoming fanboy boxes, I can smell it.
"Now I know you're probably going to cut this out, but--" fade to black

Black Mesa created a wormhole to Xen!
How long could it take to study a game that you beat in 3 hours? Incoming fanboy boxes, I can smell it.
3 hours ? What the fuck, for me it took like 9 hours.
How long could it take to study a game that you beat in 3 hours? Incoming fanboy boxes, I can smell it.
You CAN beat it in a short time and deprive yourself of most of the fun, exploration and discovery. You're being rated dumb not because of fanboy rage, but more because of the sheer fact that you felt it was necessary to make an idiotically provocative post, and to accomplish that you tried to take a well-known 'unpleasant' fact and spice it up with some weak manipulation attempt.

Quick, someone tell them about Garry's mod. Also, I don't think the portals are classical wormholes, seeing as they're flat. They called them quantum tunnels. I'm thinking this means the portal is telling an area of space it's a different area of space, and that means the only way the universe can resolve this is to make a portal to swap matter and space between the two areas.
