I'm just wondering, I have an electric drumkit, along with an amplifier, and I really want to record myself playing. Is there a way I can plug my phone or something in somewhere and have it record stuff?
does the amp have a line out? because you could probably plug it into an interface or laptop then. borrowing someones mic and plugging it into your pc is probably the best
i think most reasonable electronic kits have a line out from them to plug into the computer (from the thing that has the sounds in it, the drum machine thing... you know)

Zildjian Oriental China or Wuhan China? Also, after about one minute of playing, the feet on my bass drum come loose and it wiggles forward until I can't reach, which forces me to stop playing and pull it back. What could be causing this? Are there replacement feet?
Buy a blanket and put the bassdrum on it. There are drumming blankets for sale in music-shops.
Buy a blanket and put the bassdrum on it. There are drumming blankets for sale in music-shops.
I already have a big rug from Home Depot that I have everything on. I'll get pictures of what I mean tomorrow in the morning.

Two new drum-covers. The tunes didn't have drums originally, so I made up my own. Really difficult tunes anyway. Kinda videogame'ish. Getting pretty sick of playing on the Rolands though.. I need a little help from someone who's maybe had the same problem I'm having now. So..I've had my drum set for almost 3 months now. My drum set is located in the basement of our house. It's currently summer break for me and I'd like to play my drum set during the day whenever I'd like. But I really can't because my dad works at the house in his office(which is directly above the basement). It's not that my drumming bothers him, it's just whenever he has an important call he has no way to signal for me to stop drumming. So I'm basically asking what the best way to dampen the sound of my drums is. Also, bonus 3D picture of my drum set:
