I'm considering selling my drum kit :aaaaa:
I just don't play it enough, and it takes up loads of room. I just doubt that I'll be able to get the money I want for it.
i'll give you 2 dollars

Find a drum teacher who has a poor student who can't afford a kit.
Give it to said student
Get warm fuzzy feeling of gained room and doing a good deed :D

a very good crash for only 190 euros, about 200 dollars
is the sabian aax dark crash
i love the sound.
you also 've got a aax splash for only 50 euros
but you have to remember you have to buy (xcuse me for my lame language bcuz i don't know the word)
standers?
for a good stander from tama, which is the best, you pay about 65 euros.
a complete drumkit under 200 dollar is very lame
you have to remember that you get what you pay
I buy sound percussion stands because i'm cheap.

My drumset cost 300 dollars.
3 months later I got cymbals for that much. This is true. You get what you pay for. And my parents payed for a piece of shit.

well i've got the exact same situation,
my parents bought me a drumkit for 500 euros with my drumteacher
who totally screwed me up.
i put ducktape 'n stuff on the toms and finally i tuned it to my sound.
good symbals + snare + bass, toms you can tune a bit with
moongel - remo rims
you cn also invest into a double bass
which is only if you want to play metal
small things like a cowbell of woodblock are really cool and helps to tune your beats a cool way

Thanks! No new playalong today though. I practiced technique and independance, when suddenly the keyboardist came in with Halo: Odst. So instead of recording, we played Halo..

Damnnn, well i for one is looking forward to your new recordings :P
A new recording of iq 58 fast(Groove essentials 2). Just practiced to this today, so there are a few weird parts on the changes. Also the snare's seem to drown sometimes.
Link: http://filesmelt.com/downloader/Iq_58_fast_-_drums.mp3
Dunno if anyone still listens to these, but I'll keep postin' them anyway. Some misshits on the bass on some tricky parts, but still one of my favourites.
Tommy Igoe Ib48 fast.

So, I finally got around to recording myself...but it's just with a digital camera, so I'll have to see how it sounds, then edit the video a bit to remove blank areas and to encode it smaller before I can upload it.
Maybe this weekend haha.
Apparently, I'm supposed to be practicing a beat from N(eed)F(or)S(peed) 2. My uncle is AWESOME like that. It in the song "Ultra/Pulse"
Also, I'll take pics of what I play on next time I go over to my uncle's house. I'll snap both the acoustic and electric drum sets.
I haven't got to play my double bass in a very long time, so I am kinda pissed. :saddowns:
2 new tracks, yadda yadda yadda. Once again Tommy Igoe GE 2.0. Trying to play simpler and more musical.
