You can slide that back part forward or reverse for different "sensitivities" and whatnot.
Drummer jokes. Bassists and Drummers are the butt of most musical jokes
I still don't get the joke.
I still don't get the joke.
You know how those water-instruments/tools that are used in construction. To make sure everythings set straight. That's the joke. Anyway, I'm looking into new pedals, and I've come up with these mofo's. Good chance I'll buy them, but I'm gonna check some others out first.
Well those look interesting, how much are they?
About 769$ at music123.com. If I import it from the states I´ll save a lot of money too, since instruments cost double as much here in Norway.
Whoa no chain drive what is this I don't even. That is one sexy pedal.
I love those, I played with them last time I went up to the Memphis Drum Shop.
Direct drive baby! With those, you can play anything(with the right amount of practice).
I am currently learning to play drums, i have a teacher, since i can't afford to put a drum kit in the house ATM, learning on a set of 19 year old Tama Swingstars
Have you thought about buying the demon pedals? They are pretty awesome too.
I'm looking into them. The pedals I'm gonna check out are: Demon drive DW9000 Trick v1 bigfoot Axis longboards Pdp Boa Pedals I've already tried: Tama Iron cobra Yamaha Flying dragon Pearl Eliminators Sonor Bigbeat Direct drive pedals are more direct and light(depends on setting). With the Tricks though, you can change how heavy they are with that black switch/dial thingy where the beater is.

They have massive amount of customization possibilities (You can even change them from short to long board) and all in all they are pretty awesome. I know 2 professional (2 pros whom I've actually met, I know many more in addition to them who use those pedals) drummers who use them and they say they are the best pedals ever. I've tried them myself too and I gotta say those are some badass pedals.
I recently splashed out on an entire new drumkit! Tama Superstar Hyperdrive I love the mounted toms on the cymbal stands, I'll never go back to using mounted on a drilled kick, I usually put my toms fairly flat, about a 10 degree angle facing me, and I could never do that with mounted toms because of the depth of them! Hyperdrive toms are nice and shallow. I bought a 20" Sabian AA & AAX for my main cymbals, a 20" Sabian B8 for my ride and a 20" Sabian China. The AA and China are the cymbals Dan Searle used to record Architects newest album Hollow Crown! (http://www.myspace.com/architectsuk) Was super happy to recieve them since I'm a huge fan of the band! I bought a set of Iron Cobra's (fucking love them!), Evan's drumheads, EQ pad for my kick and then dragged the whole thing off to a studio to record my bands first song.
Awesome! How much did they cost all in all?
Roughly 2.5 grand.

I just recently got a new acrylic set. Don't mind the rough drumming, it was just a sound test with my one overhead mic.

Anyone here into cordination/independence? whether it's jazz or latin or w/e. Thats pretty much all I've been working on for the past year. It's what keeps me interested in drumming.
Why do you use gloves? :/ By the way what drum sticks are those?
I got a nasty callous from drumming too hard earlier, I wear gloves to save myself from blisters. The sticks are Vic Firth Dave Weckl Signature Sticks. [editline]07:39AM[/editline] Also, [Insert Generic Deathcore Music Here] Just a simple blast beat demonstration.
I got a nasty callous from drumming too hard earlier, I wear gloves to save myself from blisters.
I managed to get over the blisters in the first year of playing, and now I haven't gotten one since (five years). I remember trying out my friends gloves, felt weird.
Sup guise. New vid for ya. Drum-cover of Rush with Tom Sawyer. I made the drums a little different than the original. Hope you dont mind :P http://youtube.com/watch?v=mroK5NFxG2o Also, the previous cover of Deep Purple's Highway Star is also on the tube. They're actually pretty nice gloves, Zildjian drumming gloves, they're pretty comfortable and add grip for coated/wrapped sticks, I'm probably going to try a pair of Meinl half-finger gloves though, they seem nice too.
