Don't need a fancy kit to sound good!
Damn hes good :D Thats is actually a really simple but nice sounding kit.
You hit them and they make sounds that become music when hit in rythm. /input
Yeah, i'd like to see you hit them and do the bass at the same time while keeping the rhythm. Because I can't.
Yeah, i'd like to see you hit them and do the bass at the same time while keeping the rhythm. Because I can't.
Yeah thats hard :D
dude thats pretty good :D stick at it :D
Thanks man, check out the thread in the Music forum, Point 56 - Meh band. and let me know what you think!!! (That video of me playing is from a side project with an old music buddy of mine I used to play with when I had a band my sophomore year and ended up playing in Columbus, OH for our 2nd show. Then everything went to shit, haha. Fuckin' singers.)
Hhahaa im in a band atm , but our singer is SHIT.
Hhahaa im in a band atm , but our singer is SHIT.
Yeah, they get to be controlling as fuck too... I've been working on my voice for about 2 years without any professional coaching, and I'm trying to get some of my good musician friends to start something up. I sound like early Chevelle when singing.
Hmmm , i would never sing - im too shy. But my guitarist is the dominant person in our band , mostly cause hes the best hehe.

Starting the band and getting your members to be fully dedicated to the band is really tough.
Yeah , very tough. I am fully dedicated but with my mates its on off on off , its annoying.
Any more kits?
Looks like I get to be the only one with an electronic kit here. Roland TD-12 Drumkit (Ignore the hi-hat stand and double-bass pedals in this photo, I replaced the hardware afterwards.) Meinl Hi-Hat Stand (Rare, with a black finish.) Tama Iron Cobra Flex-Glide Twin Pedals

I wish I had double bass, have 60 bucks but need to save my cash, a double bass pedal over here is going to cost 160$.
I wish I had double bass, have 60 bucks but need to save my cash, a double bass pedal over here is going to cost 160$.
I'll sell you my older one cheap if you pay for shipping.
How cheap?
Absolutely untrue. I know a guy who's been playing for almost four years without lessons, and he sucks major ass. He has too many bad habts to count. Form is very important.
you sir, are making an astoundingly ignorant generalization. I have played for 3 years without lessons, and i have been told by professional drummers that i sound like i have been playing for 7 with. You cannot make assumptions about lessons or not without first knowing the person in question. I am i major proponent of learning yourself. If you have the soul to be a drummer, the skills will come with practice. and about technique, who gives a shit? if some kid can play better than me with terrible "form" im not going to get all asshurt about it, good on him. /rant [editline]07:26PM[/editline] and, and above post, i came [editline]07:29PM[/editline]
Don't need a fancy kit to sound good!
not to be a hater, but thats all rolls essentially. double, triple and quadruple strokes. hella clean though
You're overreacting. More like 70 or so.
Still, I would never find a logical use for all of them.
