Awww cool :D thanks for effort into info haha so any more kits guys?
I know that plastic drumsticks are meant to be bad if you use them too hard or overuse them. So basically there good but excessive use will keeeeeel them.
Ah cool ty :D
Here's my kit, Tama Swingstar (I think from 2000-2002-ish) with a Tama Artwood Snare (5.5x14) Sorry for the stupid reddish filter, didn't realize that was turned on on the camera. And sorry for the shitty pics haha, cheap Sanyo camera.

Evans Genera 2 Coated heads over Genera 1 clear heads on the toms (Prefer clear heads on top, need new ones)
Remo Ambassador Coated head over Evans 300 Hazy snare-reso head on the Snare (Sounds pretty good)
Aquarian Super Kick II head on the Bass drum (stock Tama Reso head)
All Sabian B8 Cymbals besides a 16" no-name China. (14, 16, and 18 inch Crashes, 22" Ride, 14" hats, and 10" splash? I think it's 10" anyways.) Much better than entry level (ZBT/ZXT/ZHT) Zildjian cymbals in my opinion.
DW 7002 Double Pedal (Ehh, it's not bad)
I beleve that is a Wuhan china.
Anyone know where i can find Dream Theater - Panic Attack drum tabs?
Just had Band prac and my hands are burning.got 6 blisters on 1 hand and 3 on the other. Anyone know how to stop it happening or make it not as bad?
I beleve that is a Wuhan china.
I'm 80% sure it's not. It was a piece of shit $15 china from Guitar Center, I forgot the brand. It just says "MADE IN CHINA" on the underside, but it's just a shitty china for practice. Wouldn't use it live. I'm thinking about getting a Wuhan china sometime though...After I get a new crash..and ride..and hats..and shells..you see where I'm going with this haha.
Anyone know where i can find Dream Theater - Panic Attack drum tabs?
I don't know of any, but you could learn it watching the drum track on Rock Band 2. Otherwise, I'd just listen to it a lot to get how it goes.
Just had Band prac and my hands are burning.got 6 blisters on 1 hand and 3 on the other. See if they don't get callused after a little while, if the golf/bike gloves are too annoying. It might just be too loose of a grip, combined with hitting too hard, or something like that.

Weak. Just man up and keep playing, you'll get calluses and it'll be fine.
Pictures time! (I know everythings abit dusty, but i havent cleaned'em for some time.) Nice ! how much dude ?
I think i said in some earlier points, but its alot. About 4k dollars(not counting worth, but how much i spent) all in all(with sticks and pedals etc). But I'm proud of'em. They may not look sexy, but they sound amazing.
USE EAR PROTECTION. My drummer friend doesn't use any and he calls me a pussy for using earplugs. Fuck him. He'll fucking see. [editline]03:08PM[/editline] Also can anyone shed any light on how to listen to music, while playing drums while using earplugs?

Then you put on hearing-protection(like the ones i have in the pictures) over those. I've been playing like this for 5 years, and havent got any hearing-trouble.
Aww cool , ill try it. and anyone know answer to my question? - is there any good sets i can buy for like 100-200 quid , im only a teenager so i cant whip out 1k-5k when im living on pocket money :D - and thats pounds not dollars.
hmm , i dunno all i can say was look on some well known drum stores online?
Yeah thats all i do these days :D
Oh... Its two kits merged.
Yes :) he sometimes gets up in between songs to play the other kit. Usually, the left side (from the drummer's perspective) is his normal kit, and the right side is his Bonham kit if I'm not mistaken. [editline]02:27PM[/editline]
Cool feedback guys. and nice kit aljaud :D
Why thank you :) it's my baby haha. Even though it's not worth a ton, it sure sounds great, as most Tamas do (when tuned properly).
Aww cool , ill try it. and anyone know answer to my question? - is there any good sets i can buy for like 100-200 quid , im only a teenager so i cant whip out 1k-5k when im living on pocket money :D - and thats pounds not dollars.
If you REALLY must get one for that cheap, you might could get a Pulse drum set or something. I would really look for used drums, you can get some sweet deals! But honestly, I would say it's not even worth it to get a drum set that cheap. If you do, you'll just have to spend more getting it up to being worthy of playing haha. Always try to buy better stuff to last, rather than cheap stuff to replace. I would shoot for at least a low end Tama, Mapex, Pearl, Ludwig, Sonor, or Gretsch kit.
What are some good headphones for use while drumming? I just want ones that go louder than my drums and have good quality. Also I'd like to know what a good 18"+ crash would be.
srsly thanks dude , i'll consider that info :D any more ideas? :D
You should work and atleast get 1k to buy drums for. No use buying old buckets and crap, just to have drums. If you're serious about drumming, you should be serious about your kit. [Thaards drumming-saying of the day]
When you start drumming, start with cheap sticks, when you technique starts to get better buy more expensive one's. It wil save you a lot of money
Has it been discussed yet what size sticks people use? 5As here, I love 'em. Also does anyone use metal sticks (I think they're called carbon). I used to because I thought it would help make my wrist stronger, but I stopped because I just loved playing with wooden 5As too much
I also love 5a. I used to play with carbon (for about 2 weeks) but i totally dislike them, they just don't give you the hit back that wood gives
Don't use metal/carbon sticks, especially those metallica/slipknot ones. They will give you carpal tunnel, because all the weight is in the front.
