Two drops of it seems to give off the perfect heat in a small bowl of curry noodles. I love this stuff.
I'm growing: Cayenne, Jalapeno, Serrano, Habanero, and Bhut Jolokia Peppers in my back yard, among some bell peppers. I plan on making some sauces in a few months. Right now the Habanero is the only plant to yield any peppers. The Bhut Jolokia came in the mail so it's time in the box kinda beat it up, so I had to gradually acclimate it to natural light, it's still small and in a pot, probably won't get many peppers off of it. Gonna make me a shitload of mango habanero sauce, steak rub, curry and chicken wing sauce.
All my peppers have grown now except for the Bhut. Time to find some good hot/wing/chicken/etc sauce recipes. I've been wanting to make some Mango Habanero sauce and some good wing sauce. Any suggested recipes i should try?
I want to grow something, but I would probably just forget them and they'd die

This is good stuff. Not too hot, but damn is it tasty.
This man speaks the truth. The apocalypse will come before I allow my pantry to run out of peri-peri. It's got loads of delicious flavour. If you've never tried it, get some ASAP.
Sriracha sauce is always the best, tastes so good with in so much different food. From french fries to phở
Tabasco regular and chipotle are both delicious, not such a fan of habanero though
I got some Dave's Insanity Sauce from a General Store at Lake Lure/Chimney Rock. Pretty tasty stuff.
Does hot sauce make you poo blood?
nope

Got a bottle of this. Cruel stuff, but it livens up chilli con carne nicely.
I figured I'd ask here.
How fast do people build resistance to capsaicin?
Because a week ago I couldn't even touch chili but now I can almost eat habanero chips (hell of a lot weaker than actual habanero, I can assure) without reaching for the milk.
I'm wondering if I'm building a resistance, or just killing my taste buds.
I like regular tabasco. There's a burger place near me that cooks it into the meat. Fucking Delicious.
Only other kind of hot sauce i eat regularly is the kind the Mexican resturant near me makes and sells.
Also, tomatillo hot sauce is way better than regular tomato hot sauce. It's a fact.
I fucking love spicy food. I haven't met anyone that likes it as much as I do. Anything that I eat that is cooked I put a shitload of hotsauce on it. I can pretty much drink habanero sauce if I wanted to, but my brother says it would be a waste. Ghost pepper sauce is fucking awesome too. First time I tried it I could barely eat any of it it. Now I can pour that shit in my food. Someone said earlier what's the point of those "gimmicky" extremely hot hot sauces, well they're for people like me.
I find that the Nando's Hot peri peri and the usual tabasco are plenty for me, delicious flavour enhancers
Spicy food is delicious and satisfying.
Any popular hot sauce sold in stores around America or Canada hotter than Jalapenos? I like hot sauce but I can never find anything hotter than the average Jalapeno.
I've seen some blog about hot sauces in which the guy writing it got a hold of pure capsaicin (crystalline form of hellfire, basically, 16 mil SHU) and placed a tiny, minute crystal of it with tweezers into a big pot of tomato soup. He said he took a few sips and then threw it away because it was just so damn hot.
To give you a sense of scale, law-enforcement grade pepperspray is about 5-6 mil SHU.
Edit: found it-

Looking for a hot sauce other than Sriracha that's got a nice texture and a sweet flavor with a nice kick to it for some steaks I'm planning to marinate
anyone know any good ones?
My friend had some Submission hot sauce in his fridge and it was delicious

I haven't tried many different hot sauces but it was way spicier than the Sriracha stuff and I found that it tasted a lot better too. I usually put a shitload of Sriracha on a slice of pizza, just a long stream across it and I don't find it that spicy. Four drops of the Submission stuff and my mouth was burning like crazy MMMMMMMMMMM
This may not be the right place to ask but what do you consider to be the best(or just a really good) sweet-and-sour sauce?
I've got a bottle of this:

its rated at like 16 million scoville
Too afraid to even open it |:
Actually.. I might try that "drop one little crystal in tomato soup" thing and post my experience. (possibly today)
for anyone interested in getting ahold of it themselves:
http://www.chileseeds.co.uk/chilli_sauces.htm its a bit down the page
Didnt the OP say that would literally murder you?
Didnt the OP say that would literally murder you?
we're talking something smaller than a grain of sugar (or similar), dissolved in atleast 1 litre of tomato soup, and i'll start with a teaspoon to taste it. I really doubt it would murder me, at most it would probably just make me wish it did.
Have fun, post results.
I think he died.
still here, haven't had a chance to try it out.
will skip lunch, then go buy a can of tomato soup after school and try it out.

That guy managed to take a bite of the soup.
tried a small amount.. wasn't really hot at all, should probably add more next time

So very true.
I'm not much of a "NEEDS 16MIL MORE SCOVILLES" guy.
Just some Sriracha everywhere and it's tasty.
When my hot sauce dilutes the food, I tell it to GTFO.

I hope you heated it up first, because it won't dissolve if it's cold.
