My birthday's tomorrow, pretty cool to have it on the same date.
I know a damn good reason to forget it, it's a waste of time effort and energy, it rains all the time because people start fires, fireworks are pointless and you can't see shit through this thick layer of fog generated by said idiots burning shit that shouldn't be burnt.

Imagine if we foiled 9/11 when it happened, do you think every year on the 11th of September Americans would set off fireworks and burn a home made Bin Laded on a bonfire?
By the way guys, what do you think of my small rhyming thingy? I made it up whilst making the thread. ("But there was a result, it was nearly occult. For after midnight had a guy stood still. Outside a cellar they rent, had Guy Fawkes went, and there guards have waited until.")
I thought it read very awkwardly.
Guy Fawkes was a cool dude.
Hahah reminds me of last year when loads of people in the thread didn't actually think/know Guy Fawkes was real. Gotta love Americans.
...and we got SO close to blowing the place up too...
Just going to chill with some friends down at the local park, quite alot of people go down there with their fireworks.
Imagine if we foiled 9/11 when it happened, do you think every year on the 11th of September Americans would set off fireworks and burn a home made Bin Laded on a bonfire?
No because Bin Laden wasn't born in America.
So you are against Christmas, New Year and Halloween celebrations then?
Halloween and New Years are both stupendous wastes of time, Christmas is nice because it's a couple of weeks that let you spend time with the family.
Halloween and New Years are both stupendous wastes of time, Christmas is nice because it's a couple of weeks that let you spend time with the family.
New years isn't. It's a time to reflect on what's happened and to improve on next year.
...and we got SO close to blowing the place up too...
Better luck next time.
I thought it read very awkwardly.
Maybe, probably. I'm not a poet. Not even close. Hell I mostly hate literature. Maybe because my school is making me listen to the kind of poetry I don't give a shit about.
Remember remember, the fifth of November, The Gunpowder Treason and Plot. I see no reason Why the gunpowder treason Should ever be forgot.
Fixed :eng101:
Halloween and New Years are both stupendous wastes of time, Christmas is nice because it's a couple of weeks that let you spend time with the family.
Not really. Without things to look forward to, life becomes an endless, boring cycle of slog.
No because Bin Laden wasn't born in America.
Shay's Rebellion, or the Whiskey revolt would of been a better comparison, maybe.
so is/were the british people against or for this plot i never understood that
Shay's Rebellion, or the Whiskey revolt would of been a better comparison, maybe.
Remember, remember the Whiskey rebellion Which demonstrated the increased strength of the federal government I know of no reason Why the whiskey rebels Should have to pay such high taxes on their whiskey

MrKaki aren't you jewish? I don't think jews celebrate that day? By the way I am jewish myself.
This is illegal in New York State. It's Illegal to have an open fire of any kind on your own properity or anywhere. This includes but is not limited too camp fires, garbage fires, burning piles, foliage fires, bonfires and campfires. Campfires are limited in size and foliage fires have strict guide lines to be followed. Starting a Bonfire is a $500-$1000 fine from the State of New York. Thank you DEC.
Why would you celebrate bonfire night in New York.
Don't know. Just saying that it'd be illegal and cost you a pretty penny if the Police caught wind of it.

[editline]05:54PM[/editline]
Why would you celebrate bonfire night in New York.
You get to play with fire, why else?

It's a bitch, lots of my friends get fined on July 4th.
In before American's troll the thread asking why we celebrate 4chan and V for Vendetta. Got the last thread made me rage. Anyway I love Bonfire night. Fires are awesome.
