Guys, I just got this for free. I can't figure how much it's worth.. anyone have any ideas? I'm guessing probably around $200 at the MOST, but I dunno. I'm cleaning it right now.
I can't find any info on it other than that it was probably produced in the 70's.
It's a WesternField Model M172B; 12GA Bolt-Action with a C-Lect choke. Came with a 2 round clip.

Barrel is a little rusty on the end there (nowhere else though):

Seems like a cheap piece to me, but I really want to go rack that bolt and let a few shells off. I've never shot a bolt action shotty.
Only two more years then I'm off to NY, which has less shitty gun laws, for rifles at least (I don't like pistols particularly).

I think imma get some 10/30 magazines for the sake of looks.
Honestly I think the sleek design of the 10 rounder suits it best.

Trading one socialist shithole for another isn't really moving on up, IMO...
Well I turned 21 few months ago and a gun show is finally on its way to my town so I'm getting my concealed carry handgun permit. I decided to sell my hipoint c9 to buy a better gun to carry. So I'm selling this:

To buy this:

I think everyone can agree this is a great choice of handguns to concealed carry.

That isn't socialism.

Definitely better than that Hipoint. Might buy one myself soon.. I always loved the look of the CZ-82.
I can't remember the website, but there's some guy in Belgium (I think it was), who makes quality custom wood grips for them for a pretty good price.
Inb4 Siminov tells you to get a TT-33. :v:

Found the site. http://www.marschalgrips.com/cz82/cz82.html
[editline]derp[/editline]
Nevermind. He's from Hungary, so it takes around 4-6 weeks for him to make the grips and about 3 weeks for the delivery.

Fire it, its brilliant. I have a 4/10 or 20 gauge bolt.
Do blades also count as firearms? :downs:
I just got a cheap balisong and it's a blast to play with.

Mine is the same being 12ga. It's fun to shoot but its not realy good for anything else.

It's for college, and the gun laws are slightly better, as they have the easily exploitable 1994 AWB instead of the fucking retarded CA AWB. I may move to Austin Texas or Florida after I'm done though.
I think I found someone who wants to trade their Glock 19 for my Glock 26...yay!

So you'll be down 7 Glocks? that doesn't seem like any deal to me.

Looks like it's in fantastic condition. I'm seeing them trading hands for about 150 bucks in good shape so your estimate is about right, you might pull off 200$ if you are very persistent. There is a dead listing on Gunbroker for one exactly like yours for 300$ and no one was even remotely interested in it.
Wow, I guess today is my day!
I traded Glocks with the guy, we're both very happy with the deal, AND I got a new job at 3x the pay of my current one! :holy:

I'm thinking about getting a cheap New England single-shot .12 gauge some time soon. I'm low on cash and I think the combination of cheap bird-shot and single action makes this the most affordable thing to shoot second to my Ruger .22. I also have a thing for classic firearms. Does anyone have one? How's the recoil? Can I still plink with it if I use slugs?

I had a New England single shot .410 shotgun. First gun I ever had. Simple no nonsense gun. Really all I can say about it. Loved to shoot it. Never fired one in 12 gauge though.

The recoil on a single-shot 12 gauge is pretty strong since the gun weighs so little. I'm pretty sure you can run slugs if the oe you get doesn't have a full choke.
Bump with newer pics:

Also, Siminov, that tapco extender thing looks like a Pmag. On an SKS.
You should be ashamed.

Here in 'Murka, we hunt deer and squirrels with Glocks all day long.
The closest to a gun I've ever been was an air-powered rifle that only fired small pellets.
Inform me Facepunch. I want a gun. I don't know if you know anything about Europe's laws concerning guns, but I want a gun.
Apparently I have to join a shooting club and take place in their activities remotely often. After a set couple of years, I can get me a gun license.
