Taurus...I'm extremely reluctant with their firearms in general.:sigh:

Last time I checked it's 21 years old to legally buy a handgun in most states. Though at 18 you can buy rifles and shotguns.

Our service pistol was the BDA or bap as it was called, we only recently replaced it with the USP.

Fucking TKers
My UK Legal EDC Gear (Aside from obvious essentials like phone/wallet/keys) -
[img_thumb]http://img211.imageshack.us/img211/9568/imageww.jpg[/img_thumb]
Usually it's the Leatherman Wave and 120E for work, and the E2DL for general day to day.
Technically the Spyderco UKPK is 100% legal for EDC here as the blade is under 3in and it's a non locking design, however if I were caught with it on my person, I'd more than likely get charged for carrying with intent.
The Leatherman Wave is Illegal for EDC, although legally I am allowed to carry it to and from place of use with good cause as long as I go there DIRECTLY (so not even allowed to stop for food). I use it at work daily and only live a 3 minute walk away.
If however I were living in the states with a CCW License, I'd probably CCW a CZ-P01. I am a Glock fanboy by heart, but the P01 shoots like a dream compared to a Glock 19, mainly due to the more comfortable grip and heavier weight (better recoil absorbtion). If you're carrying a weapon daily, you have to be comfortable with it and confident using it - after shooting both, I was not only a better shot with the CZ, but it felt more comfortable to handle. The downside though is the increased weight.
Leathermen are Illegal to an extent here?

Finally got a decent picture of it.
That's a pretty sweet buttstock. how does it handle?
That's a pretty sweet buttstock. how does it handle?
Great, but it's 100% stock, nothing altered or changed.
With that light of a barrel, it's a pretty quick handling gun for its size, doesn't feel much bigger than a regular AK when you have it shouldered.
Just seeing how the mechanism in a gun works makes me want to jizz all up in my pants.
I don't know what the appeal of clipping in a mag, pulling back the cocking lever and letting it snap forward is, but there have been days where I've just sat there and done it over and over for hours on end.
Funny thing is I've never even fired a real gun. Only paintball and airsoft guns. Rather silly really

No. The wave is illegal to carry without good cause (and then really shouldn't be easily acessible) as the blade is over 3in in length and locks.
Basic rundown of knife laws in the UK as I understand it (don't take my word for it, but I've asked enough questions to Hezzy) -
Legal to carry (although that's very dependant on age/locale and what you're doing) - knives with a blade UNDER 3in and non locking. A blade can "lock" open, but must be able to be closed again without having to use extreme force (think like a penknife, so no assisted lock).
Anything that doesn't meet these guidelines is illegal to carry UNLESS you have good cause (IE, using for work) and are transporting to and from place of use DIRECTLY (So no stopping off in the newsagents or anywhere.)
The reality is though, with zero tolerance in effect in most urban areas, anything you carry, unless it's something tiny and obviously a tool (Like a SwissTech Utilikey, GREAT tool for the price, although brittle metal) is likely to get confiscated and maybe land you in trouble, especially if you're a teenager.

Federal law says that you have to be 21 to purchase pistols and pistol ammo from a federally licensed dealer. In my state (Arizona), you can receive/purchase a pistol from a private party at 18 years old.

I think they just are foreshadowing the war between England and the US

Oooh...
There's quite a bit of a selection there. Everything from barely safe junk guns (1, 8, 9, 10 and 14), some decent guns, a number of exquisite Smiths (2, 3, 6 and 11. ESPECIALLY 2) and even a few rare/obscure shooters (4 and 17). I'm quite jelly. Even the saturday night specials look well taken care of although I'd still have second thoughts about betting my life on one.

Picked it up today. All I need to do is order the replacement screws and order the HK pushpins.
The gun feels solid everywhere but the stock. that stock is trash and feels like one of those very cheap end airsoft stocks. The mag has some very slight wobble but it's not the end of the world, my AK has mag wobble galore and it shoots fine.
I'll likely buy a higher end airsoft stock for it to replace it. Not sure if I am going to go for collapsing or full just yet.
I would shoot it but it's snowing fairly heavily out there right now and I do not want to deal with snow at the moment. ;)
I see you've given your cat some pimping night sights.
Your cat looks possessed.

Tell me where you get the pushpins from, I've been trying to get my hands on a pair.
Also the mag wobbles on mine too, no big deal.

Why thank you. They don't make 4 any more and 17 is probably his favorite. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 13 were all free guns. I guess it's just perks of the job.
