That looks rather familiar. Think I remember seeing somewhere that during WW2, primarily in the Pacific, that soldiers would slap a stock and a foregrip on a 1919 and start hefting it around like a squad support weapon. Think they called it the Stinger or something like that. ...obviously without the red dot sight.
The Stinger was a one-off gun made by a Marine who took it off a Dauntless' rear gun, then added a new trigger mechanism and an M1 Garand stock. Basically it as an aircraft machine gun with a rate of fire of like, 1600 RPM if I remember right.
Posting my 1903A3 Remington Springfield. Along with my modest collection of WWII gear. A WWI helmet, 1918 16 3/4 in Springfield Armory Bayonet, M1943 Black Enamel Canteen, and an HBT WWII jacket.
Quoting to repost, as people seem to have stopped answering.
It's not a bad price. I've seen them go for 250, I've seen them go for 150.
Name of that gun?
Kel-Tec PLR 22
First thing I thought was Kel Tec. :psyduck:
Kel-Tec PLR 22
When will we see your collection of guns? I'm just curious.
Name of that gun?
I think its a Kal-tec PLR 30 though. the mag doesn't look like holds .22's.
When will we see your collection of guns? I'm just curious.
If I recalled correctly he has a Mosin Nagant, a Ruger 10/22 and a Mozzerellaberg 500. Is an ACOG overkill for a .22?
When will we see your collection of guns? I'm just curious.
When I get a camera. Every time I get money I consider it, but I spend it on ammo instead. Oh yeah and if anyone is in the Bay Area I have a Mosin for sale, although it is very rough. I'm selling it for 75$. Or a trade for some 5.56/.223 ammo. Or a trade for a decent camera.
You can't have one of those fully automatic bolt action assault weapons! Diane Feinstein will have your head!
Is an ACOG overkill for a .22?
I'd say yeah, but that's because I can't afford an ACOG.
Is an ACOG overkill for a .22? [img_thumb]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b100/89Sunbird/Shooting/Dsc_0007-1.jpg[/img_thumb]
I'd say that entire weapon is overkill for .22 LR. Also, is that magazine a normal sized one you'd find on 5.56 versions of that rifle or the oddly long type I was looking at some pistols for Home Defense and later Concealed Carry and was thinking of a USP Compact if I could find one used at $500 range... I like Glocks but with most Glocks you got In or Out of the chamber, and a small as FUCK trigger pull weight. That's it. But with the USP Compact I was looking at, you have an actual safety, and an 11lb Trigger pull for the first shot, as well as a Hammer. Those three things just seem like they make it a MUCH better/safer weapon to have, especially to carry. And if I can't find one I was thinking of a SIG. Sig and HK make solid weapons Anyone own one?
I want a Ruger 10/22 but because I live in this wonderful country where we're not allowed to have such deadly and dangerous assault weapons I can't have one. Fuck you Australian Government

FNP 357 sig $420 http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/53893-55.html FNX 9mm, 17 rounds $555 http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/62602-1.html FNX 40, 14 rounds $555 (this is the one I'm looking at for my Concealed Carry) http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/62605-1.html [editline]10th January 2011[/editline] I'm not fond of HK myself, they're gigantic dicks about the pricing of their handguns and ego. [editline]10th January 2011[/editline] And you'd be LUCKY to find any kind of firearm with HK's name (used or not) on it in the $600 price range.
75 in rough condition? That seems a bit much, i can find them for 60 in good condition around here. Maybe that's just me
California, dude. Everything is more expensive here. And it's not like it doesn't come with some extras like a gun sock, snap caps, a little ammo.
I'd say that entire weapon is overkill for .22 LR. Also, is that magazine a normal sized one you'd find on 5.56 versions of that rifle or the oddly long type
With AR-15 .22lr conversions, you can either get stick mags that are just long and wide enough for a .22lr, or you can also get full size ones that will be mostly empty except for internal walls that guide the ammo in a single stack down the body, like these: Also, the gun is overkill for a .22 because it is primarily a .223 rifle, but I bought the conversion kit today, so I decided to share a pic I hadn't posted before.
you're a hotty with a body
Thanks, cupcake
Been looking into buying a 'standard' M1A (M14), as my friend has one. However I'm in need of a handgun, so I'm going to buy a Taurus Model 4510 at some point. In stainless steel. Can't wait for either or.

It is a compact gun that weighs more empty than my fullsize 1911 does full. It really just isn't as comfortable wearing it as it would seem. Get a Sig and be happy. I have a Sig P229R that I love to pieces. [editline]10th January 2011[/editline]
However I'm in need of a handgun, so I'm going to buy a Taurus Model 4510 at some point.
Why? =/
Why not? Can't wait for the year-long discussion of why Taurus is shit ect ect
Not because it's Taurus, but because the .45LC/.410 gauge is such crap for really any purpose...
