Who hasn't fired a Moist Nugget?
I haven't shot one either. But I did get to look at one the other when our broguht it in for deactivation :saddowns: None of us were allowed to buy it as the owner didn't want to sell it.
What should I do to the k98 since it's a stupid reworked gun? Cut it's barrel down? Explore what a bolt action bullpup would be like? Suggestions?
[editline]12th January 2011[/editline]
Also should I get a tanker garand for 650?
Yes! Get the tanker garand and post us some pictures.
Only if it's .30-06. Those Springfield .308 Garands are garbage.

Even if it's a reworked gun, there's no need to fuck it up any more. Shit, the gun went through WW2 AND bore the brunt of Mitchell's Mauser's cock rubdown, cut it some fucking slack.
I found out that I can text pictures to my email account.
Someone asked me if they could see a picture of my guns. Well here you go. (big picture)

It's a bit out of date. I have since bought a JC Higgins 583.23 and an all-weather Mini-14 (580 series). The Mosin and SKS are going to be sold soon.
Also the magazine on the SKS is a TAPCO magazine but it is pinned (can't be removed). It was there for 922r compliance.
Gee I sure do love my removable magazines and pistol grips.

I like removable magazines too, which is why I have a Mini-14 in 10-day purgatory.

22LR is for training/practice.
Most people buy 22 kits for their regular rig so they can do drills and practice without dropping $0.50 a shot.
The extractor had a bunch of trouble engaging the rims of the 7.62x54mmR ammunition. I took the entire bolt face assembly apart, removed the extractor, polished the bolt face and extractor, cleaned out some lingering cosmoline, put it back together and the problem mostly went away. It still sometimes hangs up when you try to close the bolt but it's nothing a good whack across the bolt handle won't sort out. Suffice to say it doesn't function as smoothly as I'd want it to. But I did say that the gun is in very rough shape overall.
A bit more TLC would probably fix the problem completely. In the worst case scenario you can always just replace the bolt face assembly altogether.
You need to remove your extractor. You're basically trying to do a oil change by changing the air filter.
Drift the pin out holding the extractor in, and clean out all the shit in the hole, and clean the spring well. Then put it back together. That's most likely all it needs.
Got 3 more magazines for my PSL, stripped and re-blued all my magazines. Then I tore my PSL down did a little more profiling and polishing and blued all the internals and blued the bolt. So awesome when you can Modify the fuck out of something then make it look like it was all done factory.
Been looking into buying a 'standard' M1A (M14), as my friend has one. However I'm in need of a handgun, so I'm going to buy a Taurus Model 4510 at some point. [img_thumb]http://www.taurususa.com/images/imagesMain/4410TrackerB.jpg[/img_thumb]
In stainless steel.
Can't wait for either or.
Do you think a BB gun is powerful? One thing people who buy taurus judges don't understand is that their beloved pistol isn't much more powerful than one. Yes, the new PDX ammo winchester came out with does make it a little better, but it's still an effort to polish a turd. If you want something you can kill snakes/rats with and not damage a barn or something, then it's actually a very handy gun. For any other purpose its extremely underpowered and more than likely only going to piss a person off.
Also,

He broke the barrel off. What the hell was he hitting it with? A sledge hammer?
wow. He made a useless gun even more useless.
If you want a simulation of firing a taurus judge, pick up a hand full of gravel then whip it at someone.
same thing

It's a problem that appears to be common with Taurus revolvers, the barrels are shit and have a tendency to fly off.
fuck you liberal pollytitshits.
just saw on the news they want it to be illegal to be within 1000ft of a federal offical.
Basically would mean if somone governmental drives past you while you are coming back from the range=you are a criminal.
One of those great laws that takes guns out of our hands and leaves them in the hands of people with bad intentions :smith:

THAT sort of stuff can start a revolution....when the people are no longer allowed to even see the person that is supposed to be their voice, there is no doubt they will not share the wants and needs of those in their community.
