fuck you liberal pollytitshits. just saw on the news they want it to be illegal to be within 1000ft of a federal offical. Basically would mean if somone governmental drives past you while you are coming back from the range=you are a criminal. One of those great laws that takes guns out of our hands and leaves them in the hands of people with bad intentions :smith:
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/01/11/peter-king-strict-gun-control_n_807323.html I miss bad reading. Also, not all of us hate guns

Two ring shaped magnets with a stick in the middle keeping them on the same axis, thus pushing themself apart from eachother. Without the use of a spring as usually done. This also makes wear on the springs not a problem if you like to keep magazines loaded while stowed away.
Are air-compressors, as in, silencers any more or less illegal? Hard to come by, for that matter? I think they are pretty cool, i would love to try shooting a silenced gun. i'm not an enthusiast so my views are merely based on the looks of the gun, and the sound they make.
Which weapon introduced the Bullpup design?
Which weapon introduced the Bullpup design?
I have no idea. There are schematics for a weird bullpup bolt rifle on /K/ somewhere I think, that or my teacher showed them to me, I'll ask him on Monday. Sure you don't mean a "suppressor" ? Also, hollywood and CoD style silencing is only possible if you use a low caliber, a high quality suppressor and ammunition that is loaded so the bullets doesn't go past 330 meter per second (1082 feet per second) (or whatever the speed of sound is) The MP5 - Schalldämpfer (SD) is the best example as it with proper ammunition doesn't make much noise at all. Only thing you hear is the bolt hitting the primer of the cartridge. That depends on where you live. In Norway for example silencers are barely regulated, the only restriction I know of is that they are somewhat illegal on handguns. (Somewhat as in you can get them, but not always)
If you hold a revolver with both hands and shoot, how bad is the recoil? Is there a chance it will fly out of my hand?
That depends really on the caliber, but shooting a .44 Magnum with one hand isn't a problem. Try looking up a few shooting techniques before shooting if it's your first time. Also ask for instructions to be sure.
If you hold a revolver with both hands and shoot, how bad is the recoil? Is there a chance it will fly out of my hand?
When I shot a .357 snubnose for the first time it was easy as shit on my hands, and then when I shot a .44 it wasn't near as bad as I thought it would be. Still, don't go into it expecting nerf gun recoil.
If you hold a revolver with both hands and shoot, how bad is the recoil? Is there a chance it will fly out of my hand?
Depends on caliber. Chances are if its above 44 Magnum you may want some tips and guidance on how to handle it properly/safely if you're feeling really nervous. Pretty much what evilweazel said aswell.

I sometimes screw around and shoot .45s and other high caliber handguns, simply because it's not only useful, such as only having the use of one hand, and it's just fun. People always make out shooting handguns one handed as some sort of painful experience that doesn't do anything to help. If you do it right, it's actually kind of fun. Do note that any farther than ten yards, and I have trouble being accurate. As long as you have a steady and capable grip in it, it shouldn't go flying.
Another thing, if the grip is old style with a flat really wide bottom, don't hold as hard as you can, hold hard, but not too hard. The gun is supposed "glide" in your hands when firing. On pistols however, I have no idea. I've only shot two different 1911's (a Remington Rand and a Kimber somethingsomething) and a H&K P7 with a .22LR barrel and that thing had next to no recoil(it actually has a device for more making recoil when in .22lr, it's to make sure it can cycle proplerly)

I'm pretty sure that there are bullpup designs from before the Steyr AUG. The Enfield EM-2 for example, was briefly used by the British forces in 1951. The Steyr AUG wasn't designed until 1977.
Thorneycroft carbine, developed about 1901. Patented n shit but never really used.
Yeah, that too came before the AUG, but I just didn't find it interesting enough :v:
The Nagant M1895 has an awesome design for a revolver.
For assassinations, yes. Otherwise I prefer the LeMat
