On the subject of AK varients- I give you the AIDSK-47; I can see the point in customized stocks to fit peoples' hands more ergonomically, but that shit looks pig-disgusting. And as we all know, the better the gun looks the better it performs.
And as we all know, the better the gun looks the better it performs
Not entirely true.

Old pics, by the way.
Not entirely true.
Surely you know I am joking? Also, beautiful shotguns, brah.

Yeah that does look beyond ugly, I do like the idea of custom woodcarving on a stock like that though.
Needs moar steampunk brass cogs.
I'd rather have an ugly gun that kills people vs a flashy one that is shit. *cough* Deagle *cough*
best one is still the Barrett!!!!!!!
Because 14.75KG weapon firing 12.7x99 rounds with a magazine capacity of ten is practical as anything else. Too fucking heavy to fire from anything but the prone. Unbelievable range and power don't mean shit.
Lack of Linelor pictures in here.
how much did that mag cost, because if it's a Russian aluminum one then I admire your dedication to authenticity (even if the rifle isn't actually "Russian")
Thanks, the mag cost $75, and yeah it's an original Russian aluminum mag made by Izhevsk. I plan to get an original slabside steel mag and a Russian bakelite 7.62x39 mag so I'll have all the mags covered. Also, the furniture is Russian, was a pain in the ass to get but it's fucking beautiful. Also: Can anyone identify the country of origin of this mag as well as a name to go by so I could get one sometime? I'm pretty sure it's a Yugoslavian mag but I'm not sure. [editline]05:53PM[/editline]
[img_thumb]http://i39.tinypic.com/29mxb1y.jpg[/img_thumb]
Not a Russian gun and nothing works 100% of the time. Also, I'm a collector, don't give me shit about how well they work, because I couldn't give two fucks.

A random firearm owner that has a scoped rifle ISN'T a sniper.
That is probably because you don't do it very often, always hold the weapon with a good stance, and clean it well. If glocks take any kind of punishment or filth or aren't held perfectly they turn into a Chauchat.
No we fired the gun with rust in the barrel and in the chamber. And I think we fired about 1k through it last weekend, and another 200 this weekend, and this was in a really dusty part of palm springs.
I personally like a Springfield XD or Sig p226/p225 over a Glock, not saying that the Glock isn't a good pistol. My personal preference for a non C&R eligible handgun is a Browning Hi-Power, although I'd take a Makarov or Tokarev over them anyday.
"Snipar snipar snipar snipar". A random firearm owner that has a scoped rifle ISN'T a sniper.
Yeah, when you stop and think about it, a sniper rifle mind as well be called a "Sniper's rifle" since you yourself have to be a sniper for it to be one. Till then it's just a rifle with a scope on it.

The gun and the rounds are extremely expensive, YOU can't aim past 300m, the gun is 30lbs.
well, marksmen also use "sniper" rifles, so wutever, then call it scoped .50 cal but u get my point, and this is a general fire arm thread right? and if i am not mistaken a .50 cal rifle with a scope on it is a firearm.......
You're fucking retarded. I'm a marksman and when I was doing actually marksman stuff I was shooting target rifles, not sniper rifles. Also, 50BMG rifles are really only for big as fuck targets, like bears. Yes, a Barrett M82 is nice for long distances, but a 7.62 rifle would do pretty much the same deal within 500yrds.

Also to inform you, Marksmen do not use bolt action rifles. They normally use a semi-automatic firearm to engage targets at ranges up to 800m. They are meant to keep the enemy down and not shooting. They are also trained to use accurate rapid fire unlike a sniper. And before you try to say marksmen are snipers. No a sniper is a trained marksman it goes like this Rifleman ----> Designated Marksman ----> Sniper Even most trained military snipers don't run around with a m95 simply due to the weight. Its a crutch to them because snipers are taught always leave a way out so you can escape, Now that path will be quite a bit harder lugging around a 30lb weapon. Situations where they actually use the m95 are usually when the combatants have vehicles and they need to effectively neutralize the vehicle from continuing. Thus is the reason its called an "Anti-Material" Rifle.
Way to get trolled guys.
Can't believe you took his bait, look at his name and his avatar. Then tell me if you really think he's serious.
that was dumb guys...
Better? Top one's my howitzer. SP10 - Semi-auto 3 1/2 in. Nitro-Magnum 10 Gauge rounds.
Ur a troll but let me take ur bait anyway
Better? Top one's my howitzer. SP10 - Semi-auto 3 1/2 in. Nitro-Magnum 10 Gauge rounds.
It's alright, but I like a shotgun with either wood or black/single color plastic furniture, not camo.
It's alright, but I like a shotgun with either wood or black/single color plastic furniture, not camo.
That's probably a good thing because it would most likely break your shoulder. I use it for turkey and duck, thus the camo.
That's probably a good thing because it would most likely break your shoulder. I use it for turkey and duck, thus the camo.
Not at all, I've fired a remington SP10 shooting 3 1/2 magnum turkey loads before, it's not that bad to be honest, obviously a lot more kick than a 12 gauge of the same size, but it's not too unbearable. Not something I'd shoot all day, though. Also, I'm looking at a MAS 36. Anyone have any experience with them? They are one ugly fucking gun, but from what I've read they're pretty straight shooting, Prvi Partizan sells 20 round boxes of 7.5 French for $12 on Aimsurplus.com as well, so ammo shouldn't be too hard to come by.

Also, MAS 36 is a good choice if you want something French. Granted it is a firearm made in France which immediately flags it as shit, but the MAS is probably the one good weapon they've made in history.

I have absolutely no use for a 10GA shotgun, I wouldn't even think of buying one.
