My granddad says that if I get a hunting licence He'll give me his old Shotgun!
I haven't seen it yet, but I'll post pictures when I do
SOCOMs start at around $1200...you could sell it and buy 3 Glock 17s if you wanted it back...
Move to a state that isn't fucking awful then. I hear the Pacific NW states are nice, if I ever move to the US that's where I'm going.
Oh sure I'm going to pack my bags right now so that I can drop everything and move to Nevada so that I can screw the grenade launcher back onto my SKS. I wonder why I didn't think of it sooner.
Honestly I hear that way too much from people "California gun laws suck move to a better state.". Voting with your feet is easier said than done. If your state went to hell in terms of gun laws would you pack up and drive to another one purely for that reason?
That said I might move to a good state at some point later on but not purely for better gun laws.
I wouldn't live there in the first place, since the climate can go and fuck itself. In my opinion, California sucks in general, not just its gun laws. You might have some reason for liking it but you couldn't pay me to stay there.
In all seriousness though, I do not see the draw that it seems to have to some people. All my non-gun owning friends go on and on about how badly they want to go to CA... why? Why not go to Washington or Oregon or somewhere else that actually has a nice climate?

I can understand the draw of living in Kalifornia if you have family and friends there since I lived there for most of my life.
Aside from that, the people generally have shitty attitudes and drive like shit. That works for some people though...
I'd rather live in a place where people don't act like your being in their presence is an insult and don't cut you off in heavy traffic at every opportunity while holding two conversations with a bluetooth in each ear.
I've been to Washington too, the people there are nice but a little timid, and they manage to create some pretty atrocious traffic jams.

They are beautiful states. They gun laws aren't the best in the nation, but they are generally okay. The climate and terrain more than make up for it.
Given the opportunity I'd move to either one in a heartbeat.
I'M STUPID AND CANNOT READ
welp
The climate makes up for it? Are you insane?
Take it from me, you do not want that climate. It is horrible.
Uhh, in what way?
Fairly certain that you are thinking of somewhere else. Oregon and Washington are among the most mild temperate climates available anywhere. Hence the massive evergreen forests and the presence of the redwood trees.
Oh, you mean Oregon and WA. I thought we were still talking about California. My bad :downsgun:
I love living in Arizona. I consider it the king as far as gun laws go. :D

Texas has pretty good gun laws too.
Texas has pretty good gun laws too.
Virginia here, gun laws are pretty easy to work with here too, apart from county level rifle hunting bans which is a huge pain in the ass.
Colorado Represent.
Florida here.
Oh, you mean Oregon and WA. I thought we were still talking about California. My bad :downsgun:
Oh yeah, California has a mild climate, but it in NO WAY makes up for the laws in place there. California tends to be a little too warm and boring weather-wise actually.
It's still a photoshop. No Obrez I have ever seen in my life looks that "well-crafted".
You unironically bought a Sigma and are unsure as to why it has a shit trigger? Hooooo boy. This is why we consult friends (as in, knowledgeable friends) before we buy guns.
The Sigma has a horrific trigger, you may as well just palm the thing off to somebody and buy a secondhand Glock (far better quality for the same layout) if you can find one for a price under ~350. You could get the trigger worked on but really it's not worth the time, money or effort for that thing. You will have a hard time finding a quality striker-fired handgun useful for carry for less than that (which explains why you picked a Sigma up so cheap, ba dum tish). I have many, many friends with whom I would trust any decision as far as buying guns with my money goes, and they are unanimous in their insistence that anyone who does own a Sigma should sell it immediately for something better. It's pretty much the epitome of why S&W were doing really badly for a few years until they brought the (excellent) M&P line in.
Also, what calibre is it in? 9mm is fine and underserving of the "WON'T STOP A FLY" bullshit that fudds carry on with, .40 S&W is a stupid calibre that falls between 9mm and .45 ACP in size yet has the advantages of neither, and .45 ACP is good but carries a bit of a price premium most places.
Bean-O: put that bayonet back on your SKS at once mister :argh:
9mm. I'm alright with the trigger, my only other handgun is a Ruger MK 3 .22. That said, I don't plan on carrying the Sigma, it's just for fun I suppose. I shoot rifles most of the time anyway. :v:
Honestly, if it weren't for the for all the liberal laws and non-existent attempts to stem illegal immigration, I'd move to Southern CA the moment I could find a job...some of the best weather I've ever experienced.

Florida as well, love the gun laws here...
South Dakota laws are good. State sorta sucks though, depending on where you live.

Yeah, I miss not dying of heat stroke during the summer here in Idaho. Some years aren't as bad as others but there's always at least one week out of the year where the temperature goes over 110 degrees.
I actually did have a heat stroke walking from my job to my dorm when I was teaching at ASU Tempe back in 2007...

Lack of timestamp makes it sort of debatable if it's even real but if it's true that's pretty crazy

Ohio here, our laws are pretty good, my only complaint is that we have a ban on magazines over 30 rounds.
[editline]28th January 2011[/editline]
Actually, its not a ban on magazines per say, you can own a 75 round drum magazine for, say an AK rifle, but if you put more then 30 rounds in the magazine in it, is becomes illegal, at least thats how I understand it. Could be wrong.
