CCI Mini Mags come in the sliding boxes, yeah. I'm not so sure on the stuff JDK is looking at, just because it is plain lead..no copper wash. Could foul up a barrel. [editline]5th February 2011[/editline] The mag didn't fit :froggonk: [img_thumb]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b100/89Sunbird/Shooting/sig.jpg[/img_thumb]
holy fuck are you insane that mag can set off that gun at anytime
holy fuck are you insane that mag can set off that gun at anytime
No it won't, don't be stupid. The gun will set off the magazine.
holy fuck are you insane that mag can set off that gun at anytime
Magazines kill people.

CCI and Eley atleast comes in sliding boxes, but the CCI boxes I've seen are twice as big as the Eley ones.
Magazines kill people.
Magazines don't kill people. Blunt trauma and massive blood loss does.
Picked up a nice plinking S&W .22 at a gun show today
how much and does anyone think ammo prices will ever go down?
If they don't, you could always start reloading yourself
.
how much and does anyone think ammo prices will ever go down?
$400 And probably not
9mm or .45?
.45 9mm is a fine round and all but I wouldn't trust it in all situations; as far as +P+ goes, I've never tried it so I couldn't really comment on it without probably making a fool of myself
And then keep the brass for the apocalypse and then trade ammunition for food and other vital supplies.
This has probably been asked 1000 times but is Savage Arms a good company for .308 centerfire rifles? I'd like to buy from them since the company was founded in Utica, NY, which is only a few minutes away from where I live.
[img_thumb]http://i54.tinypic.com/296ixqp.jpg[/img_thumb]
Thought you were talking about this.

I've messed around with that model. God damn what more could you ever want from a rifle? I'm very partial to browning bolt actions but savage dominates them in them in every way possible. Has a glock-like trigger safety so that it can be unbelievably light and sensitive and remain safe.
Thanks! I'll look into some of the hunting rifles.
Nope.avi [img_thumb]http://localhostr.com/files/fv1FIrh/johnny.png[/img_thumb]
You're freakin me out man! FREAKIN. ME. OUT.
I have a cheap hunting rifle, but thats about it at the moment. I dont think any of you would be atall interested: its beat to shit and its a shitty Chinese knock off aswell, I think. Anyway, too the point here: I want to get into exotic weapon collecting, with the inheritance my Dad left me a few months ago when he died. He was a gun nut, and owned around 50, but we had to sell them when he died 'cause me and my mom where not licensed for alot of them. I think he would be proud of me if I spent a large portion of $100,000 on gun. Yup. Fuck getting a phd or some shit, he would want my walls to be made out of shotguns. Eitherway, what laws surrounds things such as derringers, belt guns and other more obscure guns. I have never looked at or gotten anything past a standard hunting/gun licence. [editline]6th February 2011[/editline] Why is my avatar that queer Canadian kid.
Eh It'd be neat to have if I had the disposable income but I think i'd buy something else first.
10/22 is always the way to go. period
how much and does anyone think ammo prices will ever go down?
Not likely. The costs of brass and lead keep rising, as China's growing economy needs more of them. If we're lucky, ammo prices will hold. It's pretty cool. My first 9mm reloads I shot a few weeks ago, went without a hitch...need to work on my .223 crimping, though.

Also regarding your av. You've got to go into your account settings and pick an avatar to replace it. The Beeb is the default av. Scroll to the very top and you should see your username and a spanner next to it. Click on that and go to the avatar settings and pick an image or something from your Hardrive.

That vastly affects the costs and availability of various firearms and ammo. If you live in the US, what state?

We ha one of those law typse say that if we dont get them to a legal owner in like 2 weeks, they would be revoked. So, I sold some to a gun broker, some to a pawn shop. That money, along with money he left me anyway, brought me up to 100k. To be honest, though, half is going to a house. It was quite the collection: alot of older stuff, WW1 and WW2 I believe. I know he had a Springfield, a Garand and a decommissioned m60. Had all of its guts torn out, so it was just a show piece and worth notso much apparently. All the working reel steels where only semis at most. Some where fakes, though. As I said, where can I get licenses and such so I can own more exotic firearms? What restrictions are there if I do buy one, such. I wanna buy back a similar collection. [editline]6th February 2011[/editline]
You talk about licensing.
