The front receiver pin has the indent for a screwdriver. Plus it's a slab side. I'm pretty sure it's an SP1. He could have possible switched out the upper, which explains the handguard, but we'll really never know unless he just says yes or no on it
Dead on. SP1, My friend

Why did you switch the upper?
Dead on. SP1, My friend
I could tell because of the lack of a cage around the mag release :smug:

Also if I move to the US I would drop the required money for a giggleswitch-equipped VN-era M16 in a heartbeat. Then I'd buy another except with wooden A1-pattern furniture. I saw one of those a while back and it was fucking gorgeous.
Yeah, M16s with wooden furniture in general are really something else.
I don't know if it's just me, but I think that M16s with wooden furniture look weird. They seem much more fitting with metal or polymer
How is birdshot from a 10ga. weak? Please enlighten me because even my 12 ga. is pretty damn powerful even with birdshot.
Depends on the range and how tight it stays.
If it spreads out enough to have much air between each pellet, then each pellet has to be ballistically accounted for the same way. So with birdshot it ends up being pretty similar to a mid-range BB gun, except with a lighter smaller pellet.
Do you think a BB gun is powerful? The bigger the round with shotguns, usually it's just the more shot they'll hold. Hardly ever are they boosted up much velocity wise. Not that it matters because throwing pieces of sand at 1300fps isn't really going to do much beyond point blank anyway.
If birdshot is a joke out of a 410 gauge, it's going to still be a joke out of a 10 gauge.
Velocity doesn't change much, just the payload.

If I still had the link, I'd show you and you would be singing the praises of a well-made set of wooden A1 furniture as loud as I do.

Yes they have more shot but they also have more powder. Go out to the range with a few shotguns and pieces of plywood. Shoot the plywood at different ranges with all of the shotguns and you will see even with birdshot the 10ga. will go through the plywood alot farther away than the 410ga. will.
Birdshot is for shooting birds, hence the name. Using it against anything else is not only pointless but also stupid.
(Anyone who says the words 'birdshot' and 'home defence' in the same sentence without a 'IS TOTALLY UNSUITABLE FOR' in the middle is full of shit by the way)
7'1/2 is the best for birds
also a desert eagle with a telescopic sight?! I am mildly interested in what you used to mount it.

Well I dunno about unsuitable, more like "cruel and unusual". Anyone who survives being shot with bird shot at close range is going to wish it had killed them, and the surgeon would agree.

What is that? Is it even a weapon, or is it a mutant alien vacuum cleaner?
I put a Saiga 12 on layaway, I'm fucking excited. Also hurr durr ATF.

It's a competition level pistol. Basically, it costs $1000-$2000 and will shoot dead on target. The down side is, the ammo is usually .22lr, .32ACP, or .17 HMR. Also it intended to be fired with one hand
those competition pistols are interesting, but i can't help but wonder where the ammo should go :/
Miss me?

How are the Walther guns when compared to Benelli and Pardnini in quality and price?
I'm starting to want one of these after shooting a Benelli one at the local club.
those competition pistols are interesting, but i can't help but wonder where the ammo should go :/
The ammo goes in a mag that is in front of the trigger guard. Holds 5-10 rounds, depending on the ammo.
Benelli is not known for pistols at all. Pretty much shotguns. Pardnini pistols are expensive, but probably not as much as a Walther. Both look the same though. Your choice if you want to look tacti-cool, or have an all natural wood grip.

A Walther SP22 rite?

Infront of the trigger guard, mauser pistol style, but with magazines
A Walther SP22 rite?
If it is, it's heavily modified. Looks like it's no though.

That particular one he has is actually decent from what I've heard, from handling one (unsporterized) it's a very interesting and unique design.
Ergonomically Walthers are awesome, though a hole shit load of them have some serious problems in reliability (parts breaking through relatively mild use being the most common).

That still doesn't stop my wish of owning a PPK.

It's unsuitable because there is a significantly higher chance of them living at least long enough to do something really unpleasant than if you use buckshot.

That's exactly what I was talking about, the M16A1-style furniture in wood.
