It's a competition level pistol. Basically, it costs $1000-$2000 and will shoot dead on target. The down side is, the ammo is usually .22lr, .32ACP, or .17 HMR. Also it intended to be fired with one hand
It takes all the fun out of a gun and makes it useless for anything but competition shooting.

How about CETME/G3 in wood furniture?

I've always thought most rifles look good with wood furniture. They feel more sturdy to me than if they're made of plastic too.

I don't like CETMEs or G3s. On the other hand, an L1A1 in wood... :swoon:
That still doesn't stop my wish of owning a PPK.
PPK's are good, I wouldn't mind owning one myself to be frank.

AG3/G3/CETME rifles will never feel weak.

Is that yours? I'm in love with those post war .308 rifles, especially in wood furniture. And hot damn, if that isn't a sexy piece.

My father bought one for my parents' anniversary. It is a really nice handgun. It feels nice, and it makes me feel nice when I hold the thing.
Our only problem with it was that it was almost manufactured too well. Some of the edges on it were razor sharp, I swear. We had to polish most of them down, especially if any of us wanted to carry it. (Don't worry, we didn't ruin it.)

I want it due to James Bond. Thank god for Pierce Brosnan.
Savage rifles are amazing and are known for having one of the most sturdy and accurate bolt actions of any production rifle.
[img_thumb]http://jmtpublishing.com/articles/2011/Savage_Model_12_Benchrest_files/image001.jpg[/img_thumb]
I've messed around with that model. God damn what more could you ever want from a rifle?
I'm very partial to browning bolt actions but savage dominates them in them in every way possible. Has a glock-like trigger safety so that it can be unbelievably light and sensitive and remain safe.
I have seen someone shoot a savage with a shot gun, about six times. They hit the bolt a little after words to put in back in place. Fired as smooth as ever.

I wouldn't mind the wood one.
Although, i'm kind of partial to the green stocks...
i suppose that's probably blasphemy.
I think in general, wood = sexy.
I think it really depends on the gun. I mean, can you imagine a glock with wood furniture?
I think it really depends on the gun. I mean, can you imagine a glock with wood furniture?
Yeah that would be heaps sexy.

Glock: Now using frames made of advanced, space-age oak.
(@Comments about my gun)
It's a Walther SSP, .22 bullets.
Clip fits around 10 bullets in.
Little to no recoil.

Walthers are pretty good guns.

Or hell, here's one in the triangular design
[img_thumb]http://www.everydaynodaysoff.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/wood_AR-15.png[/img_thumb]
If I ever get an AR10 project off the ground (probably in something like 243win) I'd like to go a route like that with a stainless match barrel and a jewelled bolt. Basically apply all of the bolt gun's style to the AR platform.
Can't tell me that wouldn't be a sick rifle after it was all said and done.
Glock: Now using frames made of advanced, space-age oak.
No way, Ironwood man. Shit's so dense you can machine it like metal. A Glock made of Ironwood would be insanely awesome, I'd buy one.

If that was mine, I wouldn't be posting anything but images and videos of it. :v:
But I fired a semi-automatic AG3, and it's a real joy, and easy, too. And I love to look at the gun, take it apart, feel the weight, and look at how some parts are like the Stg44.

Man I love /k/, it's so chaotic.
I'm in love with the M16 with wooden furniture.
I've been looking for one of these incredibly sexy things for quite some time now, with very little luck whatsoever, so here's my question for you guys:

Have you ever seen one of these at a gun show, or for sale anywhere?
I know you can get them in the US as the Tigr sporter, but last I heard they're fairly pricey owing to all the retarded import shit. Damned if I don't want one, though.

Hadn't seen any but then again they're banned in CA so that's probably why. I wouldn't bother though. The prices I'm seeing on gunbroker are way too high for what you're getting. You can get a high-end M1A for less and it will shoot better. If you want something like an SVD just get a PSL. It'll set you back 600-700$ and while it won't be quite as accurate as an SVD it will be far better value for money. Just be sure to get an all-original PSL, NOT a Century Frankengun with US-made parts.
Honestly (and I know half of the people on this thread will probably crucify me for it) I fancy this piece both because of the round it chambers and, well, also because it's simply sexy as fuck!
Hell, that's the reason I love the FN FAL, and I've never been able to find one of those, either :/
