So an HK raped an AK and gave us a HAK? AHK?
They also fucked up on the charging handle. It's not supposed to move with the action, if you don't pay attention you could fuck up your hand.
Here's something AK users may find interesting

Couldn't you just go with the PTR-32 and be done with it
Granted the PTR-32 is over a thousand dollars, so I dunno
I always wondered what the reactions of soldiers hundreds of years ago were when they first heard the sound of guns. I assume most footsoldiers were trained with blades, so if a few of them were handed a handcannon and told to try and fight with it, what they would have though of the sound.
Or hell, maybe the very first cannons.
They still had thunder back then
Just introduces more dirt and dust into the system. It's not that much slower to rack the handle on the other side anyhow, and if it really bothers you, you can install a galil style charging handle, which sweeps up so you can rack it from the left.
Or you could bend your wrist and use your left hand on the right side :eng101:
Went to the gun show today.
Bought some grips for my GSG 1911 for $20
Bought some carbine hand guards, delta ring and handguard cap so I can put together another AR upper once my barrel comes in.
Saw a guy selling a Spikes tactical Punisher lower for $150. He had Infidel lowers for $135. Said he had to ask more for the Punisher because it's marked "multi cal" while the rest are marked .223.
I tried to explain to him why he's wrong, and offered him $140 cash. He said no can do. So I'm buying a Spikes lower from AIM Surplus for $80 :smug:
Also, girl scouts selling cookies at the show...bought 3 boxes!

I'm buying a California-legalized Saiga 12 (Fucking bullet buttons) with a 10 round box magazine. Anything I should know or watch out for?
The one I'm looking at is priced at $290.

$290? That's REALLY cheap, more than likely because it's California-ized. It may have trouble shooting lower load rounds but there are after market parts to fix it.

Here's something- Don't live in California
Saw an very good quality SKS and a good quality M1 Garand at a pawn shop for about $280 if i remember right. Really wish i could get them.
The new grips for my 1911. I think it really helps define the shape and texture of the gun better...

Good god man, look at the pen in that trigger guard! You'll kill us all, you fool!
Seriously though, they look nice. Do you know what kind of wood it is?
The old grips were better.

the m1 garand is either: in terrible quality; or, it's just a nonfiring replica. M1's don't go for that low unless someone is dumb

Tis my assault pen.
No idea what they are made of or by whom. Bought them for $20 at the show today.

Morning wood
Oh god I found a WWII M1 Carbine that had been painted with house paint, had part of it's barrel lopped off, the wood stock had 'speed holes' drilled all over it and had been tapped for a rail (which wasn't even straight) :ohdear:
