9mm is best.
9mm is best.
Nah man, it's all about .357 SIG... JK, actually I like 9mm quite a lot. I like .45ACP, too. Never got the point of .40S&W
Got a nugget last week. [img_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/IMG_04932.JPG[/img_thumb]
Hows that P38 you got there?
Is it decent, is it a piece of crap? Is it impossible to use? That's what I mean
What's really funny is this year, Taurus is releasing a gimmicky version of the Judge with a Raging Bull style grip and barrel. [img_thumb]http://www.taurususa.com/2011newcatalog/images/01.jpg[/img_thumb]
The next version of it should be called Judge Reinhold
Sorry for the crappy picture, I'm waiting till I get a better stock on it to get a good picture. Anyway, I bought a saiga 308 last week and converted it yesterday. I have a few 20 round Uinta magazines in the mail. It's sporting a PK-AS. 34" over all length, and I haven't weighed it but it seems around 7 pounds. That's a lot of power for a gun that size.
Numbers match
Cool, but what differs the P1 from the P38?
and it's better than a Contender
That really depends, as a combat pistol, yes. But for long range shooting, bearhunting, caliber changing and modifying it in general I think the Contender is better.
Numbers match and it's better than a Contender
Never done much shooting, have you? [editline]15th March 2011[/editline]
What's really funny is this year, Taurus is releasing a gimmicky version of the Judge with a Raging Bull style grip and barrel. [img_thumb]http://www.taurususa.com/2011newcatalog/images/01.jpg[/img_thumb] They're also planning a ridiculous .410 gauge lever action shotgun with a revolver mechanism. Just gotta find the picture of it........ EDIT: Here it is. [img_thumb]http://www.majhost.com/gallery/Agamemnon/Military/k258661_rossicircuitjudge.jpg[/img_thumb]
28 gauge is going to be even more useless than .410 There's not a single 28 gauge load that isn't birdshot. This could possibly be the weakest handgun ever produced.
The next version of it should be called Judge Reinhold
Judge norris, 6 shots, 6 barrels, 6 triggers, 12 guage.
You guys knock the Judge but after watching Hickoks video of it my opinion really swung to liking it. 00 buckshot in it would IMO make a good home defense gun.
You guys knock the Judge but after watching Hickoks video of it my opinion really swung to liking it. 00 buckshot in it would IMO make a good home defense gun.
I thought they only used 000 in .410 shells? Either way, there's so few pellets, the velocity is so low, and the pattern is so bad that you'd be better off using an actual 12/20GA shotgun with buckshot, or any handgun in 9mm up with hollowpoints. I actually think I'd take a .22 Magnum rifle over a Judge with buckshot...

It would certainly make a mess of whatever was coming at you. But then again, I've already got a 12GA for home defence, so there's not much point for me to own a Judge.

It will hold very very tight patterns out to 25 yards. I've never seen 000 used beyond 25 yards, but I'd suspect it'd still be fine out to 50 if the difference between 7 to 25 was so small. (Holes touching at 25 yards with 000... I'm pretty sure it's not going to open up much.)

Finished up my saiga 308 today: [editline]16th March 2011[/editline]
Did you do the conversion yourself, or did you buy it that way?
Did it myself. Took about 2 hours because I did it over lunch and while watching a movie. If it wasn't for dragging out all the tools, and stopping every few seconds, it probably would have only took 15 minutes.
What happens if it rains, or somebody spits on your gun?
It wouldn't do shit because it's sealed for combat. Just like military laptops.

I would like convert it but I wouldn't mind just getting a decent factory-compatible stock with pistol grip. I don't trust myself to convert it.

(Get that $30 chinese made piece of shit off the gun, asap please) If you can't cut a couple rivets off, I don't see how you made it through grade school. I'm not fucking kidding when I say that the hardest part is getting the pin retainer clip off and on. Yes, a simple clip is more challenging than knocking some rivets out. It's in a "converted" state right now. The factory state is how it should be, with the trigger group moved up where it belongs, because Mikhail Kalashnikov said so.

I have not spent the time to look into the simple procedure of converting my weapon, but I'm sure I can do it now because you put it very simply. Sorry but I'm almost done my second year of the 5th grade, I can't get a grip on the most mundane of tasks. To me 'converting' the weapon is to move the trigger pully bullet shoot device aperture forward and put a maximized handling grip attachment, because of the current state I have it in. That being the fixed stock 'imported' version. I am sorry for making this mistake. Next time I'll look for a 40 dollar chinese piece of shit (It was a placeholder) to put on babies first shotgun. Deciphering your post I have come to the conclusion that this gun is also Russian, so please allow me to exclaim my love toward Stalin and the AK47. I look forward to shooting it sometime, as soon as I find out how to put the magazine in.
Finally got myself a 1911. The rest of my handguns.

Finally got to fire my M91/30 I got a while back. All I can say is damn that was fun to shoot. Only fired 4 rounds, FMJ steel jacket. Still fun none the less.

Says it is a bastardization of his gun. Furthermore, I don't understand how even theoretically I could group tighter than my NEF Pardner with Federal Flitecontrol 00 buck. The pellets don't even leave the shot cup until 8-10yds of travel, and yet I will believe a Judge will group better than from a 2" barrel with no choke to speak of? I think not...
Used an M1 Carbine in a re-enactment today. I think i'm in love, it'd be a great little plinker. Too bad they're damn near impossible to get imported into my country.
