Everyone shut the fuck up about Blackwater.
Everyone shut the fuck up about Blackwater.
agreed
Everyone knows that OSG is where it's at dude
I need FP's opinion on these AK's and recommendations on what to avoid etc http://www.southernohiogun.com/new-arrivals/wwii-1911a1-45acp.html http://www.jgsales.com/product_info.php/rifles/ak-47-and-rpk-rifles/p/polish-ak47-1960-model%2C-7-62x39%2C-w-milled-receiver-and-correct-type-1-bayonet-/cPath/209_214/products_id/4082 http://www.jgsales.com/product_info.php/rifles/ak-47-and-rpk-rifles/p/romanian-ak-47-wasr10-63fpg-7-62x39-caliber%2C-w-wood-pistol-grip-handguard/cPath/209_214/products_id/3347 Reason why I'm eyeballing one of these is it's not as cost prohibitive as an AR (which I would have liked) and ammo for these is available en masse very very cheaply.
Anyone got a good suggestion for a older 40's 50's weapon? I already have a 30.06 rifle from the 50's

Haha should of thought of that.
do you guys prefer stripper clips or just hand loading when it comes to a nugget?
do you guys prefer stripper clips or just hand loading when it comes to a nugget?
If your stripper clips don't suck, then you're good. I like to load them individually, but I use stripper clips occasionally. I don't have any problem with taking my time. I ain't in no combat zone.

That's what I'd go for out of those 3 anyway, I'd only stop and think if the Romanian rifle was a G-code. The centurions are tarted up and look stupid. I've heard that they were in bad shape, I only assume they are the Korean ones because of the price.
Are these the surplus Korean rifles that just recently were imported? I've heard that they were in bad shape, I only assume they are the Korean ones because of the price.
Pretty sure, dunno about the condition though; there's only one review and it's on that page: "These rifles are mechanically fine, original finish and wood that is in good condition. Some wear on metal and dings in wood and will clean up better with a little TLC."
Hmmm. I think I will go for it.
Are these the surplus Korean rifles that just recently were imported? I've heard that they were in bad shape, I only assume they are the Korean ones because of the price.
Yeah those are the Korean ones. I've heard reports of them being in good shape, and others saying the stock looks like a dog chewed on it so I guess it's just pure luck getting a good one.
Guns 'n knives, fun to collect, fun to practice with, expensive as hell if you want good quality.
You aren't anti-gun. You're just retarded. I really hope someone puts a gun to your head one day and it changes your mind.
hahahahaha... oh wow... you want my life threatened so I can change to your political views. Nice. Very classy
Considering you're apparently a raging pacifist, vegan, anti-gun, anti-war and anti-death apparently no matter the justification, and flaming anyone with an opposing opinion to the point where you make god damn Trotsky look like a right wing ignorant redneck conservative, yeah i'd say you're fucking trolling. Even if you aren't and actually HAVE such a fucking asininely ignorant opinion and act as a complete pompous fuck who has all the answers to anyone that opposes it; this isn't a thread for political discussion. It's casual discussion pertaining to firearms. If you weren't trolling you would have the decency to not barge in here and start a fucking quarrel. 1/10 I suggest you try harder.
FYI same person.

Are these the surplus Korean rifles that just recently were imported? I've heard that they were in bad shape, I only assume they are the Korean ones because of the price.
I think it's awesome how there's so many factors to account for in the gun market, and how there's some people that actually know this kind of stuff. I really wish norway had a bit more relaxed gun laws. If you apply for a gun permit for the reasons of self defence, you will get rejected, if not put on some criminal watchlist and whatnot. I just want to invest in a real firearm, preferrably semi-automatic, that I can use for plinking and self defence, and concealed carry when I get old enough for that. But no, you can't even keep your gun fully assembled (firing pin, bolt and/or barrel needs to be in a separate safe) with a magazine nearby, and the gun needs to be stored in a approved gunsafe bolted to an unremovable part of the house. If I ever had a large sum of money I'd buy a AG3 in semi automatic, or pull (doubt that exists). I've always had this annoyance with bolt action guns. Why are some so heavy to pull? Wouldn't it be possible to have some of the force from the firing push back the bolt, and allow a spring to push it forwards back into firing position? Now I understand these are kind of dumb annoyances(and the spring idea is probably absolutely retarded), but when you look at the guns they use in ski-shooting, the bolt system is replaced by pull. As a kid I always wanted one of those. I don't really know what I'm talking about.
I cant believe that people are actually doing this but... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ljd_hUxCfI what do you people think of this? a stroke of genius or a monstrosity?:iiam:
Judging from the video, it doesn't seem as though there is a lot of power driving that blade.
It's not like you need 10,000 lbs of torque to fuck someone up with a chainsaw blade. Just whipping a person with one will hurt them bad.
It's not like you need 10,000 lbs of torque to fuck someone up with a chainsaw blade. Just whipping a person with one will hurt them bad.
Just so we are clear here, ITS A FUCKING CHAINSAW. Yeah its not 10K of torque but on slip and no more Mr. Lefty.
hahahahaha... oh wow... you want my life threatened so I can change to your political views. Nice. Very classy
It doesn't matter whose political views you change to, you're annoying no matter what.
