Why?
it just sounds so dumb
it just sounds so dumb
It's suppose to; that's the humor of it. [editline]09:16PM[/editline]
its a tie between that and pronouncing desert eagles "deagles" for me.
CHAMBERED FOR THE HUGE .50 AMERICAN EAGLE CARTRIDGE, THE DEAGLE INDUSTRIES® BRAND DEAGLE© HAS THE POWER OF AN M16, AND THE ACCURACY OF A SNIPER RIFLE. ONE HIT FROM IT, AND YOUR TARGET IS HISTORY.
Get to go to the range next weekend to fire this baby. Ruger P90. Basically a P89 upped to .45 ACP and uses much of the interior design of the 1911. Uses an 8 round single-stack box magazine with an ambidextrous magazine release and ambidextrous safety on some models. Heavy-duty gun at a whopping 2.11 lbs (0.95 kg) and I even got some reload sounds off of it a few months back :D
I've always been insatiably curious about those. Let me know what you think of it.
I wish I could get a G3 in my state :sigh: Edit: What the fuck I can't post in my thread.
I wanna try shooting a 50 caliber gun.
Sucks, my dad won't let me buy a TT 33. I really want one.

How are Century AKs looking these days? Word is that their quality control has improved somewhat.
I cant believe that people are actually doing this but... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ljd_hUxCfI what do you people think of this? a stroke of genius or a monstrosity?:iiam:
Marcus Phoenix LIVES! But really, WTF. I expect the army to have those mass produced by 2011-13. It will probably happen, then there will be sawed up jihad followers everywhere.
I'm assuming Chainsaw GI is a DM. What I'm wondering is why he would have a "bayonet" like that in the first place.
It's a joke, that's why. He doesn't actually plan to use that thing.
you can buy those things you know, youtube search it (the guy that "invented" it makes em special-order) also I hear ruger automatics suck
you can buy those things you know, youtube search it (the guy that "invented" it makes em special-order) also I hear ruger automatics suck
It's common knowledge that the trigger on most them is sloppy but once they get broken in they're really solid reliable little pistols.
How are Century AKs looking these days? Word is that their quality control has improved somewhat.
I have a Century Ak-74 (or whatever the fuck there model number is) and it's held up absolutely fine, put over a thousand rounds through it, never had a jam, only time it fucked up on me was when I had accidentally knocked the spring of the trigger so it wouldn't reset, but once I popped that back into place it shot beautifully, it's also decently accurate, not 200$ ar-15 accurate, but I can hit a target at 200 yards with relative ease. [editline]06:14PM[/editline] Also holy fuck I want one of those Bulgarian Makarovs JG sales has right now, as an added bonus I know where to get one of those totally bitchin' holsters for them too.
Just got my Italian Vetterli rifle in the mail today, I love antiques, no FFL involved. [img_thumb]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1939265/Garand/IMG_0507.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1939265/Garand/IMG_0509.JPG[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1939265/Garand/IMG_0510.JPG[/img_thumb] It's in much better condition than I anticipated, no rust or pitting anywhere and it retains most of its original finish, including the in the white receiver which usually has degraded to a brown patina on most specimens. Action works fine as far as I can tell, nice and smooth. The only problem is it's missing a front sight and one of the buttstock screws, which are both easy to replace. As a heads up on the AK74s... Might as well go cheap anyway. Ammo is cheap as hell right now and as soon as it stops being imported the guns are going to be useless. You'd have to be one stupid bastard to drop 1k on an AK74 right now.
There's a few companies that make it commercially, and if the surplus supply runs low, more companies will surely jump in to make money off all the people that have to feed their rifles.
Unless someone makes brass cased 5.45mm right now, it's going to disappear as soon as it stops being imported. Or at least even brass casings for it.
Unless someone makes brass cased 5.45mm right now, it's going to disappear as soon as it stops being imported. Or at least even brass casings for it.
AK 74s are very popular right now, lots of people have them, the only reason the ammo is not very common on the commercial market is because surplus is dirt cheap and thus manufacturing it isn't a profitable option. Once the supply runs low however, companies are sure to jump on the opportunity to manufacture the ammunition because people will have lots of rifles that they can't feed and no option other than to buy commercially made ammunition or sell their rifles.
And, as a rule, even if surplus stops being imported, Wolf and Bear ammo will feed my beloved Eastern Bloc weapons for years. Plus I don't forsee 5.45 falling out of the surplus market anytime soon, as the Russian army still uses it as their primary workhorse round (and I think the bulgarians too, but I'm not sure so don't quote me on it) so I don't forsee surplus drying up anytime soon.
Also holy fuck I want one of those Bulgarian Makarovs JG sales has right now, as an added bonus I know where to get one of those totally bitchin' holsters for them too.
The Makarov PM is one of the primary reasons I hate Australian gun laws.
To the guys up there talking about 5.45 rifles, I'd recommend the Polish Tantal.
The Makarov PM is one of the primary reasons I hate Australian gun laws.
Care to elaborate?
Care to elaborate?
Is it that hard to understand? I really want one. I can't have one.
Care to elaborate?
They have a minimum length on handgun barrels. You should see the Glocks on their markets, LOL.

AK74s are popular and the ammo companies will fill people's needs. It's safe to say that for any eastern bloc caliber there is always going to be wolf ammo for it. Eastern Bloc is going to be popular forever and will always have ammo at reasonable prices. Have ammo prices gone down in the past six months?
Have ammo prices gone down in the past six months?
that's a really vague thing to ask, it depends
that's a really vague thing to ask, it depends
:saddowns: 9mm for example.
