Whoops, my bad.:doh: I suck at identifying pistols.
If that's a 1911, then this is an AKM
What makes these different from AK's? Like performance wise?
What makes these different from AK's? Like performance wise?
aren't those czechoslovakian guns more like an SKS than an AK, in that there isn't a topcover
Yeah he had an aussie flag in one of the shots. He probably shot the first few things in Australia and the rest in the US.

hell anything's better than a Hi-Point
I beg to differ. Also you guys might find this useful. It's a .pdf of the latest edition of the bluebook of gun values. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=XH6GO2L8 Now you know what every gun that was ever available on the US civilian market is worth.
aren't those czechoslovakian guns more like an SKS than an AK, in that there isn't a topcover
That's what I was thinking. It seems as though it would be a little more accurate at range. But I don't know.
I fired my granpa's desert eagle and it hit me in the face from the recoil, I had a black eye for like 3 weeks. [editline]10:59PM[/editline] Yes it was at a range.
That's what I was thinking. It seems as though it would be a little more accurate at range. But I don't know.
well everyone goes crazy over them for some reason but I don't see the appeal
I saw one of those with a synthetic stock for $800. Wish I got one because the Triangle shaped bolt carrier is sexy. Does it have better accuracy than an AKM though?
Apparently they're incredibly accurate for a 7.62x39mm gun.
Glock 19 in excellent condition: $375 :colbert: Good luck finding anyone that will sell it for that.
Blue books only give you a ballpark estimate and even then sometimes the market swings one way sometimes it swings another. For instance it lists a lot of guns at NIB for suggested retail price when often it retails for way below that. Suffice it to say bluebooks give you a good starting point to ballpark the value of a given item.
I find this attractive

A thing I don't understand is why there's no gloves on the bomb suits. I understand that it's easier to fiddle with small thing when you are using your bare hands, but shouldn't there atleast be some gloves you can put on your hands in one fast motion?

One of my goals I've thought about is eventually, I'm gonna build/buy as many guns from MGS4 as I can. Class 3's wouldn't be a problem, like suppressors and short barrels, but unless the '86 ban gets repealed, or I hit the lottery, they'll probably stay semi-auto. And, I'm not gonna go chasin' after a Javelin missile, XM8, or a VSS, I'd keep it realistic. And, I'm gonna build the 3 Custom's, the 1911, M4, and 870, as well as the Patriot. They'd be projects, no doubt, but not impossible. I've already got 2 on the list, a Saiga 12 and Mosin 91/30. I just need to convert the Saiga and get a bent bolt handle and scope for the Mosin.
Dammit boyo!! This thread deservers moar pictures

True, I've never seen a folding stock for a Mosin that comes close to the End's. From this: It kinda looks like you cut off the grip and stock, and bolt on a piece with a pistol grip and TAPCO side-folder, after adding a grenade launcher buttpad.
I was wondering, can bomb disposal suits deflect bullets? I know what you're thinking, 'look it's some MW2 faggot'. It's not like that. I was looking at this diagram: And all the armor can deflect things traveling at 560 m/s minimum. I know that 9 mm travels at around 340 m/s, and 5.56 travel at around 920 m/s. The chest plate can deflect assault rifle bullets, and the full suit can deflect any pistol shots. Since it's a bomb disposal suit, the inside is also lined with foam to absorb the shockwave of the bomb. Since you're fighting bullets, you could replace that foam with more kevlar material, and perhaps make this completely bulletproof to conventional weapons. Thoughts on the matter?
Unless you intend to make an army of dreadnoughts it would be highly impractical. The suit is hot as hell, weighs a ton, very immobile, impossible to shoulder a weapon with, restricts field of view, restricts audio, and is above all designed for only one purpose: to shield the user from high-explosives.

Of course serious alterations would have to be made.

Guys, my Great Grandpaw was in WW2 and either the Korean War or the Vietnam war. This was one of the ammo boxes he came home with...can someone tell me what gun these rounds were for? I'm pretty sure the M15A2 wasn't around in WW2 [img_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/GEDC0396.JPG[/img_thumb]
