I wonder if the bayonet actually fits on the end of the magazine.
It does, see the bayonet lug?
Protip - distinguishing the 870 from the mossberg 500
The 870 has a round bolt body while the mossberg has a square bolt body
Thinkin about getting an interesting pistol. Something that looks along the lines of these guys.

Also wondering if the Nambu Type 14 is a good pistol.
As a curiosity, other than that, no. Jap cartridges are fairly hard to come by these days.

I wouldn't say hard because they're still making it but it's expensive.

Just go with the Ruger. It's actually a reliable pistol compared to the nambu, personally I'd go for the Browning Buckmark if you're looking at .22 semi's.
In honesty from all the gun shows I've gone to and collectors and such i've talked to have told me If you do happen across a Jap weapon. Its best not to shoot it or it has a good chance of blowing apart in your hands. This is due to the extremely low quality and rushed manufacturing the Japanese did during the wars.

When it comes to Nambus and most Type 99s (and all Type 38s), this isn't true. It's only true with weapons built in 1944-1945, and Nambus are practically exempt from this. A Nambu will not explode in your face if you keep some extra springs and don't fire overloaded ammunition, and they're actually somewhat reliable under average plinking conditions. They're also highly, highly accurate. The only real reason they get such a bad rap is because they aren't a good military pistol, a Ruger Mk III would fair just as poorly as the Nambu in the field, especially in the jungles where most of the fighting in the Pacific theater took place.
A fine range pistol if you can get new springs and ammo for it, which isn't that hard.
500 bux. Wants semi-automatic rifle that looks cool and performs well. What do.
Yes, because rare, complicated antique guns are always the best survival guns.
They weren't rare in the day, nor antique.
The Luftwaffe got thousands of them in WWII even though the Luger had them replaced since WWI, probably because they were much better survival weapons.

Oh, I thought you were talking about using them now. Even so, If I had to use a pistol as a survival gun I'd take a revolver.

Or
The M388 Davy Crockett Recoiless Nuclear Rifle..
Hmm, I like the look of the Remington 870. Is that what the pump-shotgun in L4D is supposed to be because it kinda looks similar imo.
Gotta find a $400 complete upper for an AR.
What do.

Move out of your shithole of a state then.
You don't move out of Kalifornia, you escape it.
I bought an air pistol yesterday. It cost me £25. Yeah.
I had to register as an airgun owner as well.

Why the fuck has no one bought this:

In norway you can legally buy a shotgun at the age of 14 if you have Jegerprøven and don't have anything on your record. You can own weapons earlier if you inherited them or you are a competitional shooter
