Turns out my grandpa got a Luger in WWII and brought it back. Its going to my uncle when he dies though. :argh:
i read that as "i have never fired a gun befor" and was compleatly confused.
Yeah I think I forgot a "you" in there somewhere. I haven't fired any of my guns all year though.
So I just got off the phone with my best friend whos currently in Afghanistan, however will be on his way him before the end of the month, it would appear he got lucky, and picked me up a present, an original PU scope and mount for my mosin, he bought it off someone for next to nothing. I  my best friend, he's the fucking man.
Why yes, that is an over-barrel grenade launcher.
If you need to conceal a gun,
Keep it to pistols, for the love of god. I don't want to see people on the news with a fucking M60 shoved in their arse
i wish my country's gun laws weren't stupid
For a .22 LR? Who has trouble with those, quadriplegics?
The same people who use Compound bows with stabilizers, pistol triggers and pin sights.
thats the COD name for it
Um no. This is an AUG Steyr used by the Australian Defence Force, generation 3 (AUG Steyr F88A3). Pic. http://i44.tinypic.com/2v95jrp.jpg Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steyr_AUG
When gun-reviewers get bored. I just started shooting. :v: It's fun, but it's not a lot of variation, I have the dream of owning my own semi-automatic, currently we just use Sauer 200 STR. (.22 because it's cheap, but it can use 6,5 x 55 mm and 7,62 x 51 mm NATO) Whatever dipshits created the gun laws here in Norway are fucking dense. Guns that LOOK like assault/combat rifles are banned. Pistol grips are banned. Shotguns holding more than five shells are banned. Barrel lenghts are regulated. There are however some clubs that can just walz right over all these rules, "Practical shooters". First thing I'll do when I'm old enough is to join in on those. :v:
AK and STG-44 are two different weapons. If I'm not mistaken, the STG was a predecessor to the CETME and G3 rifles, while the AK is a predecessor to the... Ak. As for best rifle of WWII? No. Just no. It was fragile and the magazines sucked, just to name a few of its ailments. The title of best rifle of WWII would go to the Enfield or the Garand or the K31 or the K98. I'd say Garand because I'm biased like that, but still. STG-44 does not even come close. Plus the M1 has a more growed up sibling, the M2 which has a full auto capabilities and a 30rd magazine.
All that ilk about the STG came right out of British war time propaganda. Just like that bullshit "its bark is worse than its bite" video about the MG42. I have never heard a German vet or anyones accounts from the war of any problems with the weapon. They loved it and it was a huge advancement in infantry doctrine. In fact they were planning on having all K98s and MP40s replaced by STGs by the fall/winter of 1946 had the war gone on. It was a great weapon and went on to see service post war with the GDR and Yugoslavia (it actually was standard issue in one division up to and past 1982!) as well as many pro soviet nations in Africa which received large stocks of ammunition as well as rifles from former German stocks. And what do you mean by flimsy magazines? Thats generally not descriptive for any magazine fed weapon.
My dads 1911 he bought after returning from Kosovo. And our Sig Sauer 556. Sorry for shitty quality, taken from a phone.
one does not shit tactical on a SG550 like that.
one does not shit tactical on a SG550 like that.
They sell them that way as the SIG 556. Biggest advantage of that platform over the 550 is that it takes STANAG pattern magazines. I'll give you a couple hours to cool down from the incoming rage.
SIG 556s are offensively underrated.
I'd kill for a sig 556. Sig quality and sig looks. Not to mention sig price.
And seriously? You want to get an AG3? Huhuhu, good luck! I'd pay to see Kripos after they've gotten your letter. [editline]06:36AM[/editline] You don't have any idea of what you are talking about. Since when was it illegal to keep the gun fully assembled? People I know keep their 870s and 10/22s assembled. You should really go read the gun laws. [editline]06:38AM[/editline] The pull mechanism in the ski-shooting rifles are called "straight pulls". And yep, your idea about the the bolt is retarded. It is the exactly same system as in pistols.
Practical shooters allow for owning AG3 and HK416 for sport, some rifles aren't allowed for sale in Norway but Practical shooters are able to import certain guns. When I posted that, I didn't know. I thought it was impossible, it was the standard "omg i want m4automaticlawlalwlawl" thought. Guns are to be stored either completely locked in, or witht he bolt removed and locked in.
Then why do they assign it a number? Why not just keep the number that the manufacturer gave it? [editline]05:57PM[/editline] I know I'm kind of late, but this is utterly stupid. Why would you want a bolt-rifle to be semiautomatic? What you are talking about is actually the recoil mechanism you find in semiautomatic pistols. Are you some kind of pussy? How hard is it to pull the bolt? :downs:
That was just a retarded idea I had two months ago. I had no fucking idea what I was talking about :v: The bolts are easy as fuck. The ones I used when I was younger weren't exactly top-condition :v: which gave me the idea "all" bolt action guns were hard to pull.
I want an AA12 Because it's awesome :v:
I'd kill for a sig 556. Sig quality and sig looks. Not to mention sig price.
too bad its not in .308 or 7.62 nato, otherwise I'd consider it. [editline]09:09PM[/editline]
I want an AA12 Because it's awesome :v:
protip - buy a saiga shotgun
tprotip - buy a saiga shotgun
I was going to buy a Saiga 12, but it turns out that Maryland has a retarded law about AK-action-based arms. They're somehow more dangerous because they're ak-based, so you need to be 21 to buy them.

Does it name Kalashnikov pattern rifles by name or does it just not like the short stroke gas piston?
Saiga shotguns use short stroke? I thought all AK actions were long stroke? When are we going to see the benefits of all the 2nd amendment defense thats been going down in the courts lately?
Really? Does it name Kalashnikov pattern rifles by name or does it just not like the short stroke gas piston?
I think it's assault rifles and handguns are more tightly regulated over there, not just Kalashnikovs. Shotguns and the like are not regulated if I remember correctly.
Saiga shotguns use short stroke? I thought all AK actions were long stroke? When are we going to see the benefits of all the 2nd amendment defense thats been going down in the courts lately?
Nah, lost my brain for a second. I meant long stroke.
too bad its not in .308 or 7.62 nato, otherwise I'd consider it. [editline]09:09PM[/editline] protip - buy a saiga shotgun
But the AA12.. :iia:

The Saiga is a piece of gun-shaped metal sex.
