Why get it in .17hmr when you could get an air rifle of the same caliber for 1/4 the price...
Because an air rifle can't pop abdomens on squirrels open. Or go out past 50 yards.
I never understood the mag on the APS. Is that smaller portion for the spring, or what?
I never understood the mag on the APS. Is that smaller portion for the spring, or what?
You can load regular and aquatic rounds in it.
I just got done buying a bunch of gun parts for my dad for fathers' day. My grandfather brought back an SKS from Saigon a long time ago and gave it to my father a few years ago. We cleaned 30-some year old dirt out of it today, and I noticed that a few things were missing from it. The trapdoor for the cleaning kit on the stock has a broken spring, and the actual spring that holds the cleaning kit is missing too, so I ordered a new trapdoor and a new spring. Also, it doesn't even have a cleaning kit, so I ordered one. Then I noticed that it is missing the sling swivel that is on the stock, so I ordered one and some screws for it. I then ordered a military sling, and a 50 round steel magazine for the gun (He wanted a steel, detachable magazine, so it was either 10 or 50 rounds). All he knows that he is getting is the magazine. I'm excited. Oh, and I ordered some new stuff for my WASR-10. Excited about that too.
Get before/after pics of the SKS.
Get before/after pics of the SKS.
All you'll really see is a sling and magazine added, but okay.
The deagle is in 44 mag.
He's right, although there is a .50 Action Express, fuck I love the way it's "ACTION" express.
You can get tandem warhead grenades for the RPG-7 as well.
Except that the picture that guy posted up there isn't an RPG-7. It's the chinese copy. So ha.
Bullpup, in laymans term, is a gun with the reciever and firing action placed in the rear of the weapon, but with the trigger usually located in the front. (In the above image, the trigger system is moved forward).
And what exactly does this benefit?
Seriously? It makes for a very compact rifle, that's all. Some people do complain that reloading the magazine of a bullpup is a little fiddly, but a little familiarity goes a long way if you ask me. It also doesn't solve the problem of the magazine getting in the way of shooting while prone, but a lot of the vets I've talked to prefer to shoot while crouched since grass/general vegetation gets in the way when you shoot while prone anyway.
better accuracy with shorter weapon lenght. Tough muzzle rise is greater due to center of balance being behind the trigger usually. [editline]01:03PM[/editline] By the way, I'm going to join Estonian Defence Union. I can get an Ak4(basically an HKG3 clone) and keep it at home. Maybe I can even get my hands on a M14.
man fuck you guys complex expensive computer aided guiding systems, fired from some punk ass synthetic tube
Bitch pls, RPG-7V over your SMAW any day.
Except that the picture that guy posted up there isn't an RPG-7. It's the chinese copy. So ha.
Uh no, that's the RPG-29.
Hey guys, I want to ask you something. How do you feel the first time you fired a gun? The first time I fired a revolver was bit frightening at first. Hearing the loud popping sound of the bullet leaving the barrel and the smell of burnt gunpowder for the first time was something I can never forget. But after the second shot, you will start to feel comfortable with it. If you fired a gun before, you will know the sound. It's like a balloon popping only louder and powerful. It is nothing like you see in videogames.
The first gun I ever fired was a Remington 770 chambered in 7mm Rem Mag. It packed one fack of a meaty kick and it was like a massive explosion, wacked my shoulder real good, I was like "" and then I was like ":pcgaming:"
Recently got my hands on an Original winchester model 1897 used during the Irish war of independence, i'm very pleased.
Lol, akimbo stopping power the motherfucker
That's a model 1887, which was lever action. This is pump. Mine is the shorter police model, it has RIC stamped on the side, which shows it's fuckin' old. The RIC was dissolved in the late 20's when we gained independence.
I finally got a nice reflex sight on my Benelli Nova. I was a pretty bad shot beforehand, and now I'm hitting 8/10 clay pigeons (compared to 2/10 on a good day). I also bought a Mosin Nagant (m91/30) 4 days ago at a Cabela's, for $99. Been having a little trouble with 'sticky bolt' but I hear that's more the ammo than the rifle, and giving the bolt a good slap gets it unstuck anyways. When I took the Mosin out for the second time, I was hitting targets at 200m. I was very pleased!
