This isn't 4chan.
it isnt yet
I finally got a nice reflex sight on my Benelli Nova. I was a pretty bad shot beforehand, and now I'm hitting 8/10 clay pigeons (compared to 2/10 on a good day). I also bought a Mosin Nagant (m91/30) 4 days ago at a Cabela's, for $99. Been having a little trouble with 'sticky bolt' but I hear that's more the ammo than the rifle, and giving the bolt a good slap gets it unstuck anyways. When I took the Mosin out for the second time, I was hitting targets at 200m. I was very pleased!
For me, the sticky bolt went away after a few range trips. Probably due to experience, because people have some bolt trouble after firing the mosin for the first time.
it isnt yet
Kyler what the fuck are you doing?
Hey guys, I want to ask you something. How do you feel the first time you fired a gun? The first time I fired a revolver was bit frightening at first. Hearing the loud popping sound of the bullet leaving the barrel and the smell of burnt gunpowder for the first time was something I can never forget. But after the second shot, you will start to feel comfortable with it. If you fired a gun before, you will know the sound. It's like a balloon popping only louder and powerful. It is nothing like you see in videogames.
I was real nervous at first, and I still got nervous when shooting the first shot until about two years ago or so. Also baloon popping? Sounds more like a firecracker except alot louder, and more of a sharp cracking sound to me. With earmuffs it's funny; you can hear the concussion hitting them and making a "TNKK" sort of sound.
He's right, although there is a .50 Action Express, fuck I love the way it's "ACTION" express.
Pfft, .50 AE is just .44 magnum except twice as expensive and twice as dirty.
Went shooting yesterday, people at the range were nice, and realized how big the difference in recoil is from the 1903 and the M1 Garand. Needless to say my shoulder still hurts.
Tomorrow I'll be off to the 300m firing range, I'll see if I can get pictures. (Stg. 90 is my weapon)
Kyler what the fuck are you doing?
i dont know
For me, the sticky bolt went away after a few range trips. Either that, or I'm just tougher on the bolt now.

I always wonder whether a bolt action rifle can be fired underwater
Here is my wasr, all decked out with new shit. It's before and after. [img_thumb]http://img20.imageshack.us/img20/7875/akoldvsnew.png[/img_thumb] (bottom gun is original)
tactical!!1 more like comfortable
tactical!!1 more like comfortable
Yeah, the normal stock is just a bit too short. And I know it looks all tactiCOOL now, but if I could have found a handguard (with rails), a collapsible stock, and a foregrip that are all wood-looking, I would have bought 'em.
well that wouldn't work with wood [editline]01:53AM[/editline] it'd just look weird tacticool accesories should be made of tacticool materials like fuckin nylon plastic fyber synthetic horse dung [editline]01:54AM[/editline] aluminum steel titanium fuckin diamond gold shit

I didn't want the video with sound so I have no idea what was being discussed. As far as I'm concerned, the mag got okay reviews on cheaperthandirt, I haven't seen it fail, and the mag matches the foregrip and the stock. If the guy actually had a video of it failing, then I'd feel differently. Edit: Just watched it with sound, the spring on my tapco mag seems just fine. I'll see how it feeds at the range, as I have yet to take it shooting.
You guys wanna get an every day carry section started?
what are you doing
I just saw that posted on /k/
I have to admit, the desert eagle is sexy
I have to admit, the desert eagle is sexy
I wouldn't mind having a blued one in .44 magnum.
Something my grandpa has He also has some old one barreled silver rifle with some art on it.
You guys wanna get an every day carry section started?
Why do you carry two guns every day? [editline]01:48PM[/editline]
My new wife. A Savage 93 .17 HMR
I saw that in Guns and Ammo and was thinking that would be pretty cool to have.
Why do you carry two guns every day?
I would imagine the gold-plated desert eagle for intimidation/cool factor and the smaller one for legitimate self defense.
Do people really carry that shit all around daily?
Do people really carry that shit all around daily?
Some Police do. In case they have to throw down their primary one, they have the second one hidden away as a back up. [editline]02:40PM[/editline] I know I probably would like to. :v:
Some Police do. In case they have to throw down their primary one, they have the second one hidden away as a back up.
Usually when they have a backup gun they'll have a small .38 revolver. If an officer needs SERIOUS firepower though, then patrol cars will usually have a shotgun or even an AR-15 in them.
I always see cops with XDs and in Spain I saw a ton of SIGs.
In my town they use SIGs and Glocks.
