A tank. :frogdowns:
Shut up. You're just an annoyance in this thread.
Am I the only one who really likes wire stocks? I'd love to have an underfolder AK.
So uh Would you mind explaining to me what exactly makes automatics so much more deadly? PS it isn't good gear and weapons that win wars, it's strategy and tactics. Look at The Philippines, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, et cetera.
Lets see Viet cong main weapon - AK47-74 Automatic Taliban Main weapon - AK47-74 Phillippines - Dont fucking know
Am I the only one who really likes wire stocks? I'd love to have an underfolder AK.
I love underfolders. I have a milled Yugoslavian M70 underfolder, the only problem is it's rather front heavy due to the milled receiver and lack of weight in the stock. [editline]07:43PM[/editline]
Lets see Viet cong main weapon - AK47-74 Automatic Taliban Main weapon - AK47-74 Phillippines - Dont fucking know
The Vietcong mainly used SKS's, Mosin Nagants and PPSH 41s/PPS 43s as well as MAT 49s. Their "standard" weapon was the SKS. The AK was a lot less common than people seem to think. The Taliban as well use anything they can get their hands on, I've seen pictures of them running around with K98ks and even Martini Henries, though admittedly they do use the AK more than the Vietcong did. Also you didn't answer his question but please don't because none of us really want to hear your complaining.
Lets see Viet cong main weapon - AK47-74 Automatic Taliban Main weapon - AK47-74 Phillippines - Dont fucking know
And what does that prove?
Help recoil at all?
The weight does, milled AK's absorb recoil much better. It shoots straighter than my stamped AK.
What the hell do you all own, mug?
A lot :v: Not seen: A CZ-52, my CETME, an 1890 Italian Vetterli and my .22 whatsit
I think i love you.
I think I do too, that's a BEAUTIFUL collection right thar :v:
A lot :v:
Is the magazine you have on your ak a bit rare?

This one was unissued :smug: [editline]10:34PM[/editline]
I think I do too, that's a BEAUTIFUL collection right thar :v:

I think i love you.
Thanks <3
Hey guys im kind of throwing the idea around of buying a rifle some time so im just curious what do you guys think of the SKS,Beretta CX4 storm or the CZ585. Those are the guns I've been checking out. I don't really know a lot about firearms so what are some advantages of those or some disadvantages. Which one would you recommend for target practice?
SKS is cheap and accurate CX4 is a pistol caliber, and rather overpriced at that CZ I have no experience with SKS uses dirt cheap 7.62x54 ammo, so it would allow you more range time.
SKS is cheap and accurate CX4 is a pistol caliber, and rather overpriced at that CZ I have no experience with SKS uses dirt cheap 7.62x54 ammo, so it would allow you more range time.
The SKS fires 7.62x39, not 7.62x54 which is the round used by the Mosin Nagant and SVD.
All that and no 1911? :v: Nice A1, I notice you don't like the modern look of things. Put a stock on your mauser too.
I almost bought a 1911 made in 1919 once but I was a couple hundred bucks short :( It was so nice. The only modern firearm I like is the AKM 74 lol. I can't stand rails and the like, plus I'm better with iron sights and standard scopes than red dot sights and the like. Though one of these days I will get a railed upper for my MAC 11/9 so I can put a scope on it because why the fuck not? You'd be surprised how fucking accurate that thing is. Also, some asshole modified the C96 to not accept stocks, I'm going to fix that.
Also, some asshole modified the C96 to not accept stocks, I'm going to fix that.
Who the fuck would do that?
Who the fuck would do that?
I'm pretty sure it was used in China at some point, a lot of these guns were and this thing has obviously been through a warzone. It's possible that part of the grip strap just broke off and someone put a new piece of metal in it but never readapted it for stocks. When I got it, the grip strap was bent and pitted out, there's a dent on the side of the mag, the barrel was bent, it had no rifling left and the extractor was bent. I had to fix all of that. [editline]01:03AM[/editline] [editline]01:04AM[/editline] So far all it needs is the bore relined, a new set of grips and the new springs fitted and it's good to go.
what the hell is that silver block of a pistol
Those grips are uglier up close :vomit: Need some wooden ones bro.
what the hell is that silver block of a pistol
FN Browning M1900, it was the first pistol to use a slide. I traded an Ipod Nano for it. [editline]01:07AM[/editline]
Those grips are uglier up close :vomit: Need some wooden ones bro.
Lol, I attempted to make my own, but it didn't come out nice as I would have liked. I'm gonna get some reproduction walnut grips soon. The originals were rotten though so it is an improvement. They're made out of ebony by the way, not plastic or anything.
My collection is kinda pathetic. All I have of real interest is this: A really nice Kimber 1911, and a Uberti Bisley reproduction in .45LC. The rest are .22s. Sure, the golden boy is nice and the Winchester is apparently rareish (I've seen a few in the Gun Library at Cabelas) but they're still just plinkers. [editline]01:17AM[/editline] Oh, forgot about my 870 Express. But everyone has one of those.
Any of you gents have a list of changes that happen when you get a snub nosed v non snubbed

I just hate the design for the drum mags, it's kind of stupid how the bolt has to be open to put the drum mag in.

Wow mugofdoom you make me sad for not living in america. i've always wanted to fire a mosin nagant, sks and m1 garand nice collection. how much is all of that worth? :P

Around $4,000 would be a bit more realistic though.
