Any pistol above .40cal is banned... including .40cal Barrel length is 100mm for revolvers and and 120mm for self loading... but our club wants it longer because if the fuzz rock up and they measure it and its 119.9mm then they take it away.

Why would calibres be banned? lol shit makes no sense. But then again no gun control laws make sense
Thread revival! I went to a gun shop and bought a used leather duty belt outfitted with a bunch of goodies for 60 bones. It came with the belt, a revolver holster, a double speed loader case, a handcuff pouch, a flashlight or mace carrier, a baton carrier(i think), and a double autoloader mag pouch. All in black leather (Except the speed loader case, that was a dark, dark brown). It was worn by a cop that retired. Anyway, nice leather. I mainly bought it for the black leather double mag pouch. I didn't have a proper mag carrier for open carry, and now I do. I also wanted the revolver stuff. Also if I ever want to be a mall cop... [editline]12:41PM[/editline] Oh yeah, and the belt itself doesn't fit me... fucking impulse buys. :(
I bought 20rds of 9mm Speer Gold Dots $25 :(
I bought 20rds of 9mm Speer Gold Dots $25 :(
I feel ya man
Went to the gun show. Major eye-catchers were a C-96 for $2k (I assume way too much, condition didn't look great, but I didn't pick it up and check over everything), automatic BAR for $50k, and automatic 1928 Thompson in FBI box with 3 stick mags, a drum mag, and both the regular handguard and a forward grip for $38k. They also had some weird rifle i've never seen, that looked like a hybrid of a M-16A1 and a Galil with a thumbhole stock.
Do you live in Indiana, by chance?
I bought 20rds of 9mm Speer Gold Dots $25 :(
You got ripped off. You can probably get them for 50 cents a round if you buy in bulk.
Successfully bump fired today, twas awesome.
Got a new .303 British bolt today for 120 USD [img_thumb]http://i925.photobucket.com/albums/ad100/Trojainwarrior/303british.png[/img_thumb] There's a few problems though, the bolt is really stiff but lubing it a lot should fix that. Another problem is when a bullet is loaded into the chamber, the bolt wont go down all the way, I can't see any problems visually that would cause it to act that way. Either way I'm taking it to a Gunsmith to get a scope base on it so I'll have him check out the bolt while he's at it if I cant get it to fire tomorrow.

I'd love to have a gun in .303 British but the ammo is insanely expensive.

God damn expensive shit, glad the guy I bought it from gave me some questionable Czechoslovakian ammo for it so I can go test fire it.
Man that massive over sized picture of the guncon desert eagle is screwing with my scrollbar. .303 is a great round too, it's a bit more price wise but it trumps .308

Hey guys, I want a gun but cant get a handgun until I'm 21 here in America, what a nice looking shotgun or rifle i could get.
You can buy a handgun. Just not from a dealer. Good cheap shotgun is a Remington 870. What are you looking for in a rifle?
I dont know really. I'm in texas for college so I figured it my American right to buy and own on. My dad owns an old springefield from WW2 that we shot like once. Hated the sights on it.
Lol you just find shotguns at school?
We have a weapons storage at school because the school has a gunsmith course, and I'm taking that course. Also, when we carried the guns into the storage, we had to carry them through the Arts class' classroom. I felt badass when I had a shotgun in each hand going through that classroom.
Also whats that guns on the top called. Its beautiful.
It's an O/U shotgun (O/U as in that the barrels are place in the configuration Over/under)
Hey FP, I know I've never posted in the firearms thread before, but I figure the posters here would be the best to ask the opinion of something gun-related on. Friend of mine's just bought a Ciappa 1911-22 pistol, a .22 designed in the 1911 style. I was just wondering, anyone have any problems with this gun, and was it worth the $399 CAD he paid for the gun, 2 mags, and case?
I have never even heard of the gun, but I guess there had to be a .22 1911'ish gun somewhere
Can't wait to go to the pawn shop and buy me a gun, without telling my folks.
For god's sake get rid of that Desert Eagle picture, it fucks my scrolling every time.
Can't wait to go to the pawn shop and buy me a gun, without telling my folks.
Woah woah woah. Tell your fucking parents if you're living in their house that you're going to bring a gun in.
Can't wait to go to the pawn shop and buy me a gun, without telling my folks.
Don't go to a pawn shop, they suck in terms of prices. Get something off of gunbroker, the CMP, auctionarms, or wallmart.
