[QUOTE=Gubbinz96;26087874]it looks like a regular 92fs but with plastic crap[/QUOTE] The only plastic I see on there is the grip and rail cover. Besides, who cares if it has plastic parts? Modern polymers are [i]very[/i] durable. It's not like anything vital is made out of it anyway.
Wood is where it's at. Speaking of, I have a shotgun with plastic furniture. Maybe I'll carve a new set for it out of some nice cherry...

Got back from Tulsa yesterday, was a fucking awesome show and totally worth the five hour drive. I saw this totally operator shotgun there: [img_thumb]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1939265/1113101218.jpg[/img_thumb] And bought an Adrian helmet from WW1 of unknown origin for $50: [img_thumb]http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2010/318/6/2/adrian_helmet_by_cupofdoom-d32vqdz.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1939265/PICT0316.JPG[/img_thumb] I think it may be Italian, but I'm not sure. It's all original though, that's for sure. Got this cute little holster for my CZ-52 for $10: [img_thumb]http://fc09.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2010/318/a/5/czech_vz_52_2_by_cupofdoom-d32vroc.jpg[/img_thumb] Also got a couple bayonets, one for the Garand, and one for the Arisaka Type 99 (last ditch): [img_thumb]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1939265/PICT0328.JPG[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://th07.deviantart.net/fs71/PRE/f/2010/318/4/e/m1_garand_2_by_cupofdoom-d32vrdw.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://fc02.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2010/318/5/b/japanese_last_ditch_type_99_2_by_cupofdoom-d32vt27.jpg[/img_thumb] And the kicker, a beautiful French Berthier Fusil Mle 1916 made in 1917: [img_thumb]http://fc02.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2010/318/f/8/french_berthier_fusil_mle_1916_by_cupofdoom-d32vqyr.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://fc00.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2010/318/3/7/french_berthier_2_by_cupofdoom-d32vrbz.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://fc03.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2010/318/0/f/french_berthier_3_by_cupofdoom-d32vrh1.jpg[/img_thumb] Got it for $250. :smug:
[QUOTE=Lone_Star94;26091445]Um, what is it? A bolt-action revolver?[/QUOTE] It was a sci-fi handgun used in BladeRunner, although a few real firing versions of the prop were made. this article shows how a prop making guy managed to make a real firing version of his own using standard weapon parts. Sweet deal on the rifle to!
I'm going to the Nations Gun Show in Chantilly, VA this weekend. It's pretty big, I dunno if it's bigger than Tulsa but it's at least 3 footballs fields big. It's gonna be fun, there's so much to look at.
Lol funny thread on /k/ a while back where some tard at a range managed to accidentally drop his gun, then went to grab it mid air and somehow managed to shoot himself through his hand. 9mm fmj [IMG]http://imgur.com/507nz.jpg[/IMG] [IMG]http://imgur.com/gSCgi.jpg[/IMG] [IMG]http://imgur.com/Th6C5.jpg[/IMG] [IMG]http://imgur.com/FmEai.jpg[/IMG]
Ffffffffffff that looks gnarly, media tag it please.
Why the fuck did he go to catch it? That's like, the first safety rule with anything dangerous; if you drop it, step back and let it fall.
Gah, where's that "DON'T WORRY, IT'S JUST 9MM" picture when you need it. :frown:
I just barfed into my root beer a little.
/V/ has fat fingers.
[QUOTE=nath2009uk;26125152]/V/ has fat fingers.[/QUOTE] Muscular thumbs
Man up
[QUOTE=Ridge;26125297]Muscular thumbs[/QUOTE] More like some serious swelling.
Ouch.
Found an old pic of my AR with a clip loaded... [img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b100/89Sunbird/stupid/Dsc_0002.jpg[/img]
har har har
it has gangrene by the looks of it tard didn't clean properly, also was surprised at the size of the exit wound.
Stay alive thread. [IMG]http://imgur.com/SK8li.jpg[/IMG] Guess what this poor gun used to be. [sp] svt-40 [/sp]
Good god, what the hell happened?
That'd probably look decent with a skeletal metal stock. [editline]20th November 2010[/editline] and longer barrel [editline]20th November 2010[/editline] and a new designation that isn't svt40
