[QUOTE=mugofdoom;26237474]This x1000, I can't even play the game because of how fucking ridiculous it is. It's not like it really matters though, I've played Modern Warfare 2 so I've seen pretty much all they have to offer.[/QUOTE] I couldn't get over the fact that the Vietcong were using AK74Us. How do you fuck that up, anyways? The production date is in the damn name. The RPK was in there too, and while it's less obvious that it was never in the Vietnam war, they should have still done a little research. Anyways, I have a question about AK47 magazines. I recently have gathered a nice Polish Ak47 for my collection. It came with two mags. Neither of them I can identify. One has zero visible markings that I can see, and the other has a few vague ones. The one with the markings is nice. On the spine, there's, an 11, a 12, and a larger 2 all stamped within triangles, and I have no idea what they mean. They're also the only ones I can find. I've obviously considered both of the magazines as being Polish, since it's a Polish rifle, but I still want to know if anyone knows for sure.
[QUOTE=PrusseluskenV2;26250619]that looks like a MAC for some reason :psyduck:[/QUOTE] to me it looked like a micro-uzi with tac bits to me. Anybody who seen a micro-uzi with tac bits say yeah!! [img]http://crunkpanda.com/wodie/leprechaun.jpg[/img]
Tnoutdoors9 always has some really cool videos. His latest one makes me want a Ruger 10/22 [b]BADLY[/b] [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ncqIPpgSy50&feature=sub[/media]
I loved how he was shooting in a suit. And it makes me want a nice synthetic Ruger 10/22.
[QUOTE=Mabus;26249571]The Uzi Pro [img_thumb]http://www.israel-weapon.com/files/Galleries/UziPro/111.JPG[/img_thumb] the new Uzi, looks very sci-fi.[/QUOTE] I kind of like it
So anyone know where I can get a vehicle mount or some sort of plans to make one? Perferably for a M249? If there is some sort of clamp system for a handguard or barrel that'd work too. This is for airsoft obviously, not sure if you folks will appreciate this inquiry on that note.

How did you want to mount it to the vehicle?
I'm not positive yet, I'm going to consult some guys that do metal working and autobody and see what their opinion is. So far the two leading concepts with me are; 1. Rig brackets below and above the rear window of a pickup (Mounting it onto a Toyota Tacoma) and that I could slip a PVC pipe (With the Machine gun mount and whatever other bits I need to keep it from falling out/through) that would basically give me 360 degrees of rotation and when I don't want to drive around town with a Machine Gun mounted to my vehicle I can just demount the gun and pull out the pipe. 2. Basically it'd be a plate with a pole on it and ontop of the pole a mount, much like the previous design only instead of mounting any actual brackets to the vehicle you can pick up the stand, slide it into the bed and weigh down the plate with sandbags/deadweight/yourfeet and just use it like that. I just need to be able to remove the gun, obviously and if possible the mount but I'll take what I can get. I haven't decided what gun I'm going to mount yet. I want to wait for a M240B coming out relatively soon from a company called Echo 1 which would be ideal. But depending on the price of that, I may just get an M249. If at all possible I'd like some sort of plate to come down so I can rest the ammo box on the M240 relieve stress on it, on the M249 I think it's sturdy enough to go without. M249 [url]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M249[/url] [img_thumb]http://www.ricksairsoftarmory.com/pictures/echo1m249mkii.jpg[/img_thumb] M240B [url]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M240[/url] [img_thumb]http://www.popularairsoft.com/files/images/TH_m240.jpg[/img_thumb] As for mount examples, here are a few, all are M240 mounts but the M249 is the same concept basically: M240 pintle and travel lock [img_thumb]http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd264/blackfox-111/M-240/THM240PintleandTravellock.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/library/policy/army/fm/3-22-68/image828.jpg[/img_thumb] This one is a custom job, the second image has an extra ammo tray. [img_thumb]http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd264/blackfox-111/M-240/M240CustomCradle.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd264/blackfox-111/M-240/M240CustomMount04.jpg[/img_thumb] M249 mount; [img_thumb]http://forum.apan-info.net/fall03/jpg_lg/030517M8683D00_0HZ1X.jpg[/img_thumb] I'm extremely open to makeshift methods or cheap methods of attachments, it can be attached with zipties and ducktapes as long as it's secure and hopefully can achieve 180 degree turn radius. The vehicle it will be mounted on is the rear of a 2001 Toyota Tacoma 4-door. [img_thumb]http://static.howstuffworks.com/gif/vehicle-pictures/2001/toyota/tacoma/0666-048-rear-3-4-480.jpg[/img_thumb] Much like the Special Forces did during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom: [img_thumb]http://img123.imageshack.us/img123/9218/toyotatacomav65ed.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://img123.imageshack.us/img123/1694/toyotatacomav627ki.jpg[/img_thumb]
I really don't think they are special forces... more like Mercenary's.
Oh, no they're Special Forces. During Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Enduring Freedom, multiple Toyota Tacomas have been observed in use by special forces units of the U.S. Army. Typically, they have been Double Cab models, with SR5 and TRD packages. Despite the fact that the Hilux, which the Tacoma is based on, is extremely common in the Middle East, SF found it to be easier to purchase them from American dealerships, modify them appropriately, and ship them to their areas. The Tacoma and Hilux share a similar body, but the chassis is significantly different in the Tacoma and believed to be much weaker. The gasoline engine used is significantly quieter than the diesel engines used in the HMMWV. These were modified by eliminating the factory radio, along with almost all exterior lights and door buzzers. The front headlights have been modified to work in IR, in order to work with night vision. The engines are unmodified, but the vehicles have been fitted with brush guards, Warn winches, and a rollbar with a machine gun mount. The British, Austrians and Kiwis used them too, although I guess it isn't a stretch for PMC's or Mercenaries to use them, the Taliban and other groups use them in mass too but the Special Forces variants are a lot more professional looking and functional. Budget cuts much?
[QUOTE=CodeMonkey3;26287336] The British, Austrians and Kiwis used them too[/QUOTE] I beg your pardon? Please tell me you don't mean Australians.
[QUOTE=SBD;26287463]I beg your pardon? Please tell me you don't mean Australians.[/QUOTE] you mean sheep fuckers?
[QUOTE=Aman V;26287515]you mean sheep fuckers?[/QUOTE] OH WOW, Did you come up with that all by yourself?
Who are you calling Sheep fuckers... the Kiwis have more sheep then us! 20 per person. And I mean really how can you confuse us with Austrians?
[QUOTE=SBD;26287615]OH WOW, Did you come up with that all by yourself?[/QUOTE] I'm obviously joking you tard. Don't take everything so seriously

[QUOTE=SBD;26287463]I beg your pardon? Please tell me you don't mean Australians.[/QUOTE] Kiwis. New Zealand. Starting to wonder why you're rating me dumb to be honest. The fifth and sixith pictures down are Kiwis according to the guy who took the picture. [editline]25th November 2010[/editline] [QUOTE=Sgt Doom;26288857]Is that a DShK in the first picture?[/QUOTE] Yeah, those are British troops I believe, not positive what the story is behind that one. They may also be Kiwis, but I think I saw one of them wearing an Osprey vest. There are two more pictures from that set if anyone wants to correct me; [img_thumb] http://filesmelt.com/dl/01212345678.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb] http://filesmelt.com/dl/063.jpg[/img_thumb] [editline]25th November 2010[/editline] [QUOTE=$$>MUFFIN<$$;26287389]Budget cuts much?[/QUOTE] Nothing to do with budget cuts. Basically when Special Forces are deployed they're supposed to be extremely flexible and able to be mobilized quickly and quietly. What they usually do is give groups of SF operators plastic crates of money and let them do what they want with it. Typically they buy vehicles and such in country but in this case it was cheaper to buy them from America and ship them over. It's a common practice for quite a few services to just let them rely on what they can acquire themselves in theater.

Second picture down; Austrians. I haven't heard anything about the Australians using Hiluxes or Tacomas. They most likely did at some point, but I haven't seen or heard any evidence to back it up so I just don't list them. Is it always this easy to incite you? [editline]25th November 2010[/editline] [QUOTE=PrusseluskenV2;26289662]When did the BAF start using russian MGs?[/QUOTE] Probably because they bought it in-country. Not positive the nationality of those guys either. The Kiwis, Australians and British all use similar patterns in their uniforms. I say British because I -think- I see an Osprey vest which are British but I can't be sure. They may even be Polish because in the ATV picture I think I see a Polish flag on the rear guy, but those aren't Polish issued uniforms so I couldn't really say for sure. I'm going to go dig around and see if I can't find out.
Oh, I assumed you meant Aussies because of the mention of poms and kiwis. My mistake.
I'm already back already. Looks like all those guesses were wrong, apparently they're Czech SOG. Explains the DShK too. [img_thumb]http://www.army.cz/images/id_9001_10000/9771/06.jpg[/img_thumb] So that makes the total list of known Tacoma/Hilux operators in Iraq and Afghanistan; * Czech * British * Kiwis (New Zealand) * US Army Special Forces (United States) * US Airforce Pararescue (United States) * Austria

Don't know yet, I finished building it this morning and still need to drill the touch hole. A task made infinitely more difficult because the shitty shit drill bit I was using broke off inside, so I now I either have to get some super insane drill bits to drill through the broken one or make a really big hole and put a liner in.
hunt rabbits w/ it [editline]25th November 2010[/editline] the long ass musket thinge
There wouldn't be anything left of the rabbit. Would be like hunting deer with a pack howitzer.

Soon... soon... I may just take it to a gunsmith here in town and see if he can deal with it so I don't have to patch yet another hammer-shaped hole in the wall trying to fix the touch hole myself.
