I'm already back already.
Looks like all those guesses were wrong, apparently they're Czech SOG. Explains the DShK too.

So that makes the total list of known Tacoma/Hilux operators in Iraq and Afghanistan;
* Czech
* British
* Kiwis (New Zealand)
* US Army Special Forces (United States)
* US Airforce Pararescue (United States)
* Austria
I don't know why, but these Technicals always amaze me or something. Also, do they use the current models of hilux? The current hilux is a beast. It liked how district 9 made use of the hilux.
Does anyone know if there are universal silencers? ones that would fit different barrel sises with out much modification.
Does anyone know if there are universal silencers? ones that would fit different barrel sises with out much modification.
With differences in threading and sized bores that would be basically impossible.
Silencers can be used on smaller calibers than they are designed for. So you can own a .308 supressor, which would also work with 5.56 and the like.
But you need to have proper mounts for each weapon. I believe GemTech has a supressor that has several different mounts available, to fit different weapons...
Cool, it's just that i can't find any threading dies that are the right size for silencers on the market... I would also have to find a way to get it into Australia.

Yeahhhh....good luck with that one.
Well if you took it all apart then put it in a box with other random bits of metal... how will they know its a silencer?
It usually says "BRANDNAME MODELNAME SILENCER" on them, atleast on those I've seen.
Been to the shooting range when I was younger, was only allowed to shoot incredibly high powered pellet guns, was fun...until I got a real gun in my hand, so much better.
Stopped because the youth section was shut off because of financial difficulty's (not that much interest here in the Netherlands for guns).
Might go back there when I turn 18 in a few months, competitions were fun.
Also, guns are impossible to get here, you need to store them in a safe almost more secure than that of a bank.
Yep, e.g. BRAND MODEL CALIBER SILENCER

Eh, what's the problem with using a gun safe?
Nothing, they're just more expensive than nothing.
I think it's good it's controlled like that, it's just a bit more inconvenient, better than it turning into Rio de Janeiro.

That's a nice troll attempt, but all you did was reverse the original .gif to make it look like the gun was exploding...
Here's the original.

I think you're the one trolling because how the fuck does he just magicaly put that gun together out of just pieces with one hand in about a second then shoot it?
Anyone else wanna get a Winchester model 1887? Yes, I found out about the model 1887 from MW 2, but I really admire it. Hopefully, I will be able to find a quality reproduction of it.
In Australia we have pretty good reproductions of the 1887, it's the closest thing to a pump action.
I have a model 1897, it is pump-action. The 1887 is lever action. Of course you may only recognize it in its sawn-off and stock-less form, here:
a proper 1887:

Wait, so here lever-action shotties are perfectly legal but pump-actions are restricted to farmers? What the hell?

When do gun laws ever make sense? They're banned on appearance.

Finally got my papers for my Contender and the raw .357 barrel. I look forward to burn some cash on this.
Now I just need to send the papers and the money to the right guy and I will be the owner of a Contender. I hope I get it before the next rangetrip with my class.
After growing up with .22lr, .308 and 6.5x55 I feel quite rebellious getting a shortbarreled rifle in .357 Magnum
Well my dad got a Trijicon ACOG sight for his rifle
[img_thumb]http://img42.imageshack.us/img42/9267/img4375bj.jpg[/img_thumb]
No ACOG

With the ACOG, it's pretty bad ass

Why did you include a pic of a '97 Trench gun? The '87 and '97 are in no way related beyond being shotguns.
Anyone know what the legal age for owning a gun in Canada is?
Eh? I thought most ACOGs are either crosshairs or chevron? Never seen a red dot one before.
18 for long guns, 21 for handguns
Eh? I thought most ACOGs are either crosshairs or chevron? Never seen a red dot one before.
Other versions have different crosshairs. I like the dot, and who cares we got it for free anyways.

They have all sorts of different crosshairs.
They have mildot crosshair, chevron, triangle, donut of death, etc...

Long body...guessing a TA33R8?
I've seen that before, but it still gets me. Fucking awesome.
I remember someone on this gun board I used to go to made a black powder AK out of a Romanian Parts kit.
