Why did you include a pic of a '97 Trench gun? The '87 and '97 are in no way related beyond being shotguns.
I own one, well a police model anyway. And I am madly in love with it so post them any chance I get.
I have a question: Why are people in SA so pissed about people in movies pulling the slide on a glock and the glock makes a "klack-klack" sound? Doesn't it make such a sound IRL?
A lot of movies use the same stock sounds of a pump-action shotgun being reloaded, and use it for rifles, pistols, shotguns, MGs and SMGs
Yeah, was watching The Walking Dead last night and someone let the slide drop on a pistol and instead of "KLACK" it had the typical "CLICK KLACK" sound of the slide being worked both ways. Some sound engineers just don't care enough to bother building up their own sound catalog.
Watch the original 1984 terminator, the spas 12 becomes an assault rifle in certain parts of the police station shootout.

Movie directors are idiots.
I found another stupid Australian Law. A shotgun can have the stock or barrel sawn-off as long as it has an overall length of 75cm.
Get a Handgonne then.
I really want to get a shotgun but I'm not sure whether or not I want a Mossberg 500 or a Remmington 870.
870 has a bigger aftermarket. It is the Honda Civic of the shotgun world.
I really want to get a shotgun but I'm not sure whether or not I want a Mossberg 500 or a Remmington 870.
They are both great guns.
I really want to get a shotgun but I'm not sure whether or not I want a Mossberg 500 or a Remmington 870.
I'd go with the Remington, but I'm just saying that because I own one. Guess it's personal preference.. They are cheap and like Ridge said, the after-market is huge for them.
I really want to get a shotgun but I'm not sure whether or not I want a Mossberg 500 or a Remmington 870.
Handle both of them and stick your thumb in around the loading chamber of the two and decide if that flap is going to annoy you or not [editline]29th November 2010[/editline] Also there is a fairly decent sized aftermarket for the Mozzarellaburg 500 aswell. 500's in general are cheaper.
They are both great guns.
Yeah. I've got a 500A and I love the thing to death, but I've fired a few 870s and they're great as well. Comes down to personal preference really, go to the shop and check both out and see what you like.
870 has a bigger aftermarket. It is the Honda Civic of the shotgun world.
Honda Civic...Thats Limerick Citaay. very popular car in certain parts of Ireland.
me and my dad use an M1/M14 as home defense in addition to target shooting, anyone think its a little overkill? we refuse to get handguns on principal and I'm too young
me and my dad use an M1/M14 as home defense in addition to target shooting, anyone think its a little overkill? we refuse to get handguns on principal and I'm too young
Why don't you just get a good shotgun?
me and my dad use an M1/M14 as home defense in addition to target shooting, anyone think its a little overkill? we refuse to get handguns on principal and I'm too young
...uhh yeah 7.62 is a little bit overkill in a building.
Just a little. A long time ago I read a post on a different forum by a guy who was 'cleaning' his Springfield and managed to somehow fire it. The bullet went through every wall in his house and then through his neighbors house before hitting a brick wall. Consider that a house is practically made of chalk, balsa wood and tin foil to a bullet.
me and my dad use an M1/M14 as home defense in addition to target shooting, anyone think its a little overkill? we refuse to get handguns on principal and I'm too young
Enjoy your hearing while you have it...if you have to fire that .308 in a hallway, you are screwed. Also that long of a weapon is going to be a pain in the ass if you need to go around a turn...
So apparently there's a pawn shop near me selling a fullauto pump action Mosin Nagant. I shit you not, that's what they wrote down on the tag. I had to leave because i couldn't stop laughing
Take a pic A few years ago I was chatting with the guys at a local pawn shop when some guy comes in and starts telling us about Beretta's new over/under pump action shotgun...myself and the guys behind the counter just smiled and nodded, lol
This reasonable for a first AR-15? http://www.impactguns.com/store/898559001032.html
This reasonable for a first AR-15? http://www.impactguns.com/store/898559001032.html
The receiver looks kinda weird to me, dunno. I don't know enough about Stag to comment really, sorry. I did manage to finally get a picture of my new Bushmaster up. Got it for 160 after I traded in my old AK. Came with one STANAG and three Tapco mags. Forgive the quality, just a little point and shoot Kodak.
This reasonable for a first AR-15? http://www.impactguns.com/store/898559001032.html
Stags are fine weapons, and the price point is decent. But I'd avoid a 20" barrel for a first gun...go with a 16" length, M4 profile. It's amazing how much more manageable it is with 4 fewer inches, yet will be almost as accurate at longer ranges.
I have a model 1897, it is pump-action. The 1887 is lever action. Of course you may only recognize it in its sawn-off and stock-less form, here: a proper 1887: [img_thumb]http://picturearchive.auctionarms.com/6847212120/9443547/d0855792fbb84fe877b54728ac979323.jpg[/img_thumb] a 1897 military: [img_thumb]http://www.winchestercollector.org/images/guns/1897.jpg[/img_thumb]
I want this gun so much. I would kill for it.
Does anyone know much about Del-Ton Inc? I've heard good things about their rifles, and that their customer service is friendly. I also like the prices, a lot.
Seems like the first half of this year, there were lots of complaints about their bargain bin rifles...
