That thing looks like a feasible hunting rifle, but the pistol grip and underfolder stock is illegal where I live :frown: . Also, I'd chop the stock all the way off or gotten a shorter suppressor (but that's too late)
I have a single barrel 4/10 shotgun with an enfield bolt, theres something satisfying about using that bolt.
Buy one of these They're badass
Buy one of these [img_thumb]http://i54.tinypic.com/2e5po9l.jpg[/img_thumb] They're badass
Good for killing walkers...
What reason do they give for those being illegal?
Military weapon characteristics, that and a foldingstock really has no practical use for a civilian, the pistolgrip however has exceptions when it comes to semi-auto's for use in IPSC shooting, but that's the only thing.
I was talking about rifles, sorry for not specifying that. A clearly defined pistolgrip like on a AR is illegal ('cept in IPSC and "practical" shooting and ofcourse, on pistols), but the "pistolgrip" you would find on a Krag for example is legal simply because it isn't as defined as the AR like pistol grip. Yes, this is pants on head retarded to some of you. When it comes to military characteristics, the M1 Garand is still illegal here, just because of that. There was however a time where you could buy semi-auto MP44 and convert to full-auto simply by filing down a part that welded on before sale, another example of the retardedness when it comes to some of our laws and how they are practiced. So: This is legal. This one is illegal
Yeah well most people either use a Remington 7615 or a Lee-Enfield. No semi's in Aussieland.
Damn, they don't let you guys have any fun at all, do they?
that and a foldingstock really has no practical use for a civilian.
What if I want to compactly store or carry it?
Pistol grips aren't illegal.. folding stocks are.
Sure? According to this: http://www.kammeret.no/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=7155 It seems like this is actually legal when it's a part of the stock like this:
What if I want to compactly store or carry it?
Then you're fucked.
Well, his grip is legal then. I dunno why, but I covered folding stocks too. (probably because I secrectly want one on my Krag)
Buy one of these [img_thumb]http://i54.tinypic.com/2e5po9l.jpg[/img_thumb] They're badass
A .44 mag will take out anything a .50 can and it has one more chamber. Sure, the 500 is a beautiful gun, but it's uses just aren't practical. Fun at the range, but that's about it. Hell, you can get a .357 with 7 chambers; now that's stopping power.
The .460 is more practical IMO. Fires a lot of different ammunition.
A .44 mag will take out anything a .50 can and it has one more chamber
"Nobody who's ever faced down a coastal grizzly has ever wished they had one more round of a weaker caliber." Advice from an old Alaska native and hunter I know. ETA: Back when he still lived there he carried an 03A3 and a Ruger SBH in .44 Mag... looking back, he's afraid in retrospect and wishes he would've carried something bigger.
Damn, they don't let you guys have any fun at all, do they?
Nope, no fun at all.
Anyone know this gun:
Anyone know this gun: [img_thumb]http://img522.imageshack.us/img522/6701/madseninbrazil.jpg[/img_thumb]
Madsen machine gun http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Madsen_machine_gun
So: This is legal. in my country both are illegal, the barrels are too short.
Wow, still using 100+ year old guns in tactical situations...shit's crazy!
If it gets the job done... It was overengineered when first made.
If it gets the job done... It was overengineered when first made.
We used the Bren gun till the late 90's it got replaced by the GPMG. I had a chance to fire it before it went out of service, I can see why they had it for so long.
Pistol grips aren't illegal.. folding stocks are.
I never understood why
/k/ommandos on facepunch!
/k/ommando first class reporting.
It would be weird if pistol grips were illegal
Last I heard M3 Greaseguns were still being used in Iraq in small numbers. Not just by vehicle crews either.
Considering the "weirdos" and all the loobyism in the US DoD, I'm not doubting it either
So anyways Campin Carl what guns do you own?
