You could also put fake names on the return address I mean someone sent me a package addressed to "Disco Spider" so I doubt that'd be a problem lol.

I'm a little confused about this whole "preferences" thing. Can we get some kind of consensus on this? I thought that we'd be able to just kind of give whatever to whoever we got (assuming that whatever we were giving fit a broad preference - ie not giving a WWII guy MOLLE stuff). It seems more like "preference" was taken to mean "I want X get me that", but I was under the impression this would be more of a "just get whatever" type of thing. Also, I figured under that assumption that we'd be able to gift things we already have, not have to go out and buy new stuff. I'm not saying I want to give a shitty gift or anything, but I've got some nice stuff laying around that I don't use and money's a bit tight for me to be going out and buying new stuff to give away.

I assumed preferences was like the price range you were willing to spend so that you were matched up with someone giving a comparable gift. So that someone giving $30 I gifts doesn't get $5 worth of stuff in return

Preferences are to be taken with a handful of salt. I specifically discouraged precise preferences, but sometimes, somethings slipped through. So's here's uncle ossum's basic rule set for gifts: If you can stay within the boundary of the preferences, that's awesome! Do that. If you can't, do your best to do a little research on your target. If you already had something picked out(which, to be honest, i do discourage, but it can't be helped if you don't have anything extra to gift), i guess just send that(unless strictly forbidden by the preferences). Just remember that it sucks to get something you can't use, so if you're not using someone's preferences, try to keep your gift general and overall useful. It literally made it hard to breathe for a second But anyways is there a set date we have to ship these out by? And for reference, it'd be awesome if people would post an up to date loadout picture so we have a better idea of what to buy

I think I know what I want to get my person but I have no idea if they already purchased the items or not I want to get something more thought-out than a gift card but I don't want to buy duplicate items

Today is the 3rd day in the 2 week shipping period. In a perfect world, you should have it shipped out in the next 4 days, but the extra 7 days is a buffer for slow shipping. And everyone is more than welcome to turn this into an impromptu loadout thread, if it'll help with gift giving.

I want to remind everyone that failure to ship out a gift is simply unacceptable. When you signed up, you basically just said that you have the ability to participate, including the ability to ship out. You had up until the dead line to back out, and you didn't. If someone doesnt end up getting their gift, im gonna be rightly pissed the fuck off m8
