My cat once had one put on. I swear, that cat is some sort of evil mastermind. The cat took it off, pulling it off, somehow, then caught birds and brought them to our back door. Then she slipped it back on, loosely, when she went back in the house, so we never suspected a thing. Birds just kept appearing and we were quite confused, but I managed to find it out. Our cat just has some sort of collar-repellent neck. One of our other cats once locked me and my brother out the house. It'a a long story, but he stood at the window, the entire time, and this cat usually always opens the window after he learnt how to. But he just stood there. he didn't eat the food there, just stood there. Looking at us. After we were out there for about an hour and a half, he only ate once, and took some food over to the window so he could keep eating. When we finally managed to get in, he ran out the room, and hissed at us. I'm not joking. The cats have a plan. They will get us all.
My cat once let me in the house after we got locked out. We have those locks where you can always open them from the inside, and we got locked out, and the cat opened the door for us. Thanks, cat!

My cats are pr0 mice hunters. They are indoor cats, btw. One day, after a long hard day of working, I went up the stairs. And what do I see? 2 mice, both dead, along with one of my cats. One she knocks down the stairs, the second she starts playing with. Then picks it up in her mouth, looks at me like "Whut?" and walks casually into the cat-feeding room (room with food and litterboxes) puts it in her bowl and starts eating it.
My cat brought his first dead bird into the house yesterday.
I found a freshly-dead Spotted Dove on my walk back home from Uni the other day. It was just sitting in the middle of the footpath. It wasn't there when I left only 3 hours beforehand. If my day was timed differently I might've been able to help it. It looked perfectly fine externally; without even ruffled up feathers. :saddowns:
:flashfact: It wont survive in the wilderness, when you raise it. IT WILL DIE

yeah, but he got his account back now, i don't think he's going to remove all the hundreds of "i love anal" posts that were spammed while it was hijacked.

Don't try and fight nature dude. You have no obligation to save animals from other animals.

The problem with cats attacking birds is bacteria. Even a small and insignificant claw wound can kill a young bird within hours, so there's not much you can do but give baby formula and hope they survive the first night and keep their appetite and energy up. Leaving the bird on the ground pretty much reduces it's chances of survival to near zero unless it almost has it's flight feathers in.
Kill it before it starts chirping..
Atleast you didn't do what my sister did and feed a rescued baby bird a lump of wet bread so big that it choked and died 5 minutes after saving it
Your nails are so pretty.
My cat has caught 11 rabits so far, and it is still going. It is a huge cat.
What's up with facepunch and picking up wild animals?
