Just got back from seeing this in Wolves.
I have to say, it was pretty hilarious and the concept was amusing with some interesting observations of reality incorporated into it.
Also, Ricky Gervais was great. I'm not sure how much they scripted his character, but a lot of what he says appears to come naturally and seem like what he would come out with when he's out of character.
To be fair, I liked Ghost Town too.

Sorry for the epic bump... I just didn't want to create a new thread... I just saw the movie and thought it was utterly amazing. He could of fucked over so many people. Since it's already been bumped...I saw it yesterday, the beginning is nice, but after about 45 min' into the movie it gets boring and dumb :/
The fact that people can't lie doesn't mean that they only care about the genetic of their future offspring.
Late in the movie it just becomes a constant jokes on religion.
I saw it. Didn't like it very much. It would have been better if it didn't start going all mushy and lame towards the end.
