Facepunch Collaborative VII: One More Till An Octave

Start uploading it now, releasing it is just when you tell people about it. Nobody said you had to release it immediately after, but it's nice to have the work done in the meantime.
Uploading.

Here is the link. Still in progress. The album is hidden right now. Also, the tracks are not in order yet.

We should really get the order decided soon.
The order of my volume leveling with my favorite six at the top, the rest being random besides Hakita who asked to be last due to a really long song. Like discussed earlier, the first six tracks are going to be stronger and diverse to attract downloads. I'd like other people's input on the top six tracks after the album is uploaded because just my opinion isn't worth much.

Agh! You still have it as my band called REM Relapse and my band name is REM Relapse. Fix that!
It's REM Relapse by Holy Helix, not Holy Helix by REM Relapse.

You have me confused.
You have me confused.
My band is Holy Helix and my song is called REM Relapse.
Also, who's doing the artwork?
Should be fixed now.
I'm not sure who's doing it. If nobody comes up with something we'll just go with the James Bond one. Ideally someone should improve upon that concept because it was only a concept from what I remember.

I pretty much have all the artwork ready. I could send you a PM.

How about instead of the silhouette of James Bond, it should be a silhouette of Garry with his camera?

iControl appears twice in that list. Are you aware of that?
Also some stuff doesn't match the OP in Super_Noodle/Karl Von Muller's case.

Alright. While I was organizing the text for the linear notes, I noticed that some tracks were not on the list. Did they pull their tracks?
Idontflowhard - Killing *BEEEP* In the streets
Lufttygger - The Submarine
fpmankills - Darkness Falls
I have been waiting for a while to get "Idontflowhard - Killing *BEEEP* In the streets" song, he submitted one, but didn't allow downloading and didn't get back to my PMs so he can be dropped.
Yes, "Lufttygger - The Submarine" is supposed to be on there. Ends up I was missing the audio file. Looks like he gets spot number 12.
fpmankills is on the list under "ExEcuteFox - Su Root".
[editline]24th December 2011[/editline]
Just organized the list.

What is this project all about?
This is a collaboration where musicians from Facepunch work independently and submit songs for the album. There are few requirements and no genre restrictions which allow for a lot of diversity. If you're interested in getting involved in the next album keep an eye on the last thread. Also, be sure to check out the previous albums which can be found on our Bandcamp.

Silent-Bob - Alkaline
Description: I've never done anything quite like this before. I wanted to make something a little moody and atmospheric but keep a decent groove to it. The The degraded/distorted 8-bit sounds give it that nice mechanical touch. I had a blast designing the sounds for this!

Holy Helix - REM Relapse

fpmankills - Darkness Falls
Description: Originally a dubstep track of mine, I've toned down the tempo to create (hopefully) a foot stompingly delicious track that will at least get some heads bobbing. Definitely an improvement over my last submission to the Collab album, but I hope that my mixing and mastering have improved, since I went into these really knowing nothing about them, just tweaking it till it sounded good to me.
Genre: Jump Up (?)

FAQ
Q: Is it really free?
A: Yes.
Q: You said it was free but it is asking me for a price.
A: Try entering in "0" for a price. If that doesn't work we likely ran out of download credits.
Q: If I donate money where will it go?
A: It could go one of two places. The first being to download credits. Bandcamp gives you 200 download credits each month. Download credits allows you to download the album or a song in whatever format you want for a credit per song. When the album releases, the credits get eaten up pretty quickly due to how many songs are on the album. The credit package is as follows:
$9 USD for 300 download credits
$20 USD for 1000 download credits
$75 USD for 5000 download credits
After the amount of traffic slows down to a point where nobody is really downloading anymore, the rest of the money will go towards a charity. The charity in particular will depend upon a vote granted there is a decent amount of money. If there is only 30 cents left, voting or donating wouldn't make much sense for obvious reasons.
Q: How was the track order decided?
A: The first five tracks were choosen by quality, the rest were randomly ordered.
Is this Facepunchy?

If we are going with that cover I say remove the agent and replace him with a silhoutte of something music-related. Like a dj flipping flops or a guitar, a piano or a guy dancing... the possibilities are endless!
garry/bond with a guitar!
Is this Facepunchy?

Yes. However, it needs to be redone without the jpg compression.

Oh wait, it's in the original image too.

Facepunch Collaborative VII: Shaken, Not Stirred
If we are going with the Bond art.
We're going with what is in the test OP, mainly because it has a matching back and liner notes while the Bond one doesn't. I'll just take the second best title from the last thread, and we can get a mod to change it if needed.
[editline]26th December 2011[/editline]
Posted. I really screwed up on the name though, don't know how I did that.
