Nowadays people think only Americans make muscle cars.
It's not a looker if I'm honest.
The only "new" muscle cars i like are the new mustangs: and the New Dodge Challenger: Mostly because they are kind of dipping into old roots style wise. The new camaro's are too luxury and flashy for me.
Funny how noone ever mentions the Oldsmobile 442. First thing that goes through their heads is "lOl oLdSmObIlE iS fOr OlD pEOpLe".
impala was never a muscle car [editline]09:27AM[/editline] also, the viper is not a muscle car, it is a sports car. like the corvette.
Actually the original Viper was considered a muscle car due to it having the specs and abilities it had after those regulations set it.
The 67' Pontiac GTO has always been my favorite muscle car but I love the Chevelle SS too.
Idunno wether it's considered a muscle car or not, I've always loved the '75 Mustang Also the stingray is fucking awesome.
My dad had a 1974 Pontiac Trans Am with a 454. But he wrapped it around a tree racing :/ However I drive a 1998 Camaro SS, with a legit LS1 350hp that I dropped into it (none of that tuned down 320hp LS1 crap that GM put into them initially). Cold-air intake system, and a Borla Exhaust System. [editline]04:13PM[/editline] Vipers suck, Corvette FTW!! I know that none of the cars I have mention above are Muscle cars, they are Pony and Sports cars. But they are close enough that they basically count! (only missing the 1960-70s requirements hahahaha)
Who can forget the interceptor?
It's got an LT1 under the hood, which is like an LS1 only with a cast iron block instead of aluminum, it's got a higher red line and bhp output.
Dude you have your facts wrong, a LT1 is nothing like a LS1. The LS1 is superior in every way.
Funny how noone ever mentions the Oldsmobile 442. For what I've always read, they were probably the most expensive muscle cars back then... Too bad not many people are into those cars as much as the Camaros and Mustangs... They deserve the G-Treatment as much as many other cars from that era. ALSO, another beautiful car that comes to my mind is the AMC Javelin...
I would kill the pope for this car.
Shelby Cobra represent.

Something about the angle of the windshield..
Javelin's are awesome. They just aren't very popular because it's a bitch to find parts for them. Most of them had badass pistol-grip shifters. I know a guy that has one and his shifter has brass knuckles as a grip. Doesn't get much more hardass than that.
Muscle cars and Harleys, the Man's vehicle choices.
I have a '67 Chevelle sitting in my driveway right now, its name is the Prinz Eugen, named after the German warship. My Grandpops named it that because HIS grandfather's Navy ship was unable to keep up with the Prinz Eugen in WWII and it escaped. The ship was strong and fast, so it only made sense to name a strong and fast muscle car after it. It's a shame, though. You see, my grandfather has gone a little crazy over the years (shirtless 24/7, eats squirrels and shit, lives in the house of my late great grandfather that's falling apart, etc.) so the Prinz Eugen has just been rusting away underneath a tarp in my driveway for years now, and we can't put a cent into it because my grandfather will just take it back and drive it around with all of our hard work put into it. So as fucked up as it sounds, we have to wait for him to die before we can restore the mighty Prinz Eugen. And of course, pictures as proof. The "now" picture was taken 3 days ago. It really is a shame. :(
he's probably one of those guys who thinks that top speed is directly related to horsepower [editline]06:01PM[/editline] it's all in the gearing, they had like 3-4 back then
what? a solid opinion? in my facepunch!? WOOOOOW but seriously, yeah. The gearing was kinda shitty but we were for horsepower not speed dammit
Lets go stumpin'!

[editline]11:33PM[/editline] Also to all you challenger fans. The AAR cuda, a TA challenger with x10 more balls. [img]http://www.musclecarclub.com/musclecars/plymouth-cuda/images/plymouth-cuda-aar-1970c.jpg[/img]
Hennessey Venom Vipers are the shit.
I would kill for a camaro like this... 91 Z28 with rear spoiler and Zr1 Rims Mustang Fan disagrees with sexy camaro lol
Let's not forget the Plymouth Roadrunner

Ladies and gentlemen, I present the ultimate muscle car: the Fiat 300 HP. Three hundred horsepower. Four cylinders. Twenty-eight liters of displacement.
Holy shit that's a big fucking engine.
Nowadays people think only Americans make muscle cars.
To me, I can see elements of a shelby GT500 in that
I saw a fuckin' perfectly mint '69 Charger yesterday. It was turquoise.
Oh holy shit me too, I think it was in yellow
The Stingray has got to be one of the more sexier looking muscle cars. Just gotta love that "Coke bottle" shape in the middle.
Yesterday I went to a hot rod show. Shit was so cash. http://www.kumeuhotrodshow.co.nz/ <- For those interested. Some good images in there.
