Shit. My mum just found out. I was chilling in my room, smoking, thinking everyone had gone to bed, when I heard a knocking on my door. It was my mum, and she told me to open the door. I said "No", and then she said "I think you're smoking things you shouldn't be smoking, like marijuana". I was shocked and immediately said "No I'm not". She responded "Don't you think I recognize the smell? It's none of my business, but you're an idiot, you know that?" That was a couple of hours ago, haven't talked to her since D:

Naa, if you're careful there wont be any smell at all. You just gotta hold all smoke in until your lungs have completely absorbed it, for like 15-20 seconds that is. And directly after you've taken your hit press the bowl against a table or something to extinguish the burning weed and thus preventing smoke from escaping. I, however, wasn't being that careful as I was really stoned :/ I suppose I have myself to blame. But still, I'm kinda happy she didn't go psycho on me/threw me out of the house and shit like some other parents would do.

My parents found out a couple of weeks ago that I smoke (cigarettes) and I told them I'd quit.. but I've still been smoking since then and keeping it a secret from them. They've no really been nosey about it so I think I'm in the clear just now. I turn 18 in 2 weeks so then they don't really have a choice.

My Dad would kill me if he knew I smoked weed, even though he used to himself. But my Mum and Step-Dad are A-Okay with it, as long as I smoke it with "people I trust" or at home. x3

I told my mum not long after I started smoking. She didn't particularly care because she grew up in a bad neighborhood and did all kinds of drugs as a teenager. I've smoked in front of her with my girlfriend and had full several hours long conversations with her while stoned. My dad's always been completely straight edge with things, he's the introverted type and the most he's gotten drunk off is Kahlua and Milk. I think he knows, but I don't think he's too particularly fussed anyway.

It's been a day now, my mum is treating me just like normal. I suppose she doesn't care that much if I smoke or not. [editline]10:59PM[/editline] In other words, yay :D

I'm glad my parents were always chill with me smoking in the house since I started. Now my friends say that my house permanently smells like weed though me nor my parents smell it anymore. Plus my parents smoke hash in the living room. We're all very open about drugs. Now my sister just got back from Australia and she bought me an ashtray shaped like Australia.. and a lighter!

My dad's a doctor and my mother is a religious nutjob so I'm pretty glad they don't know I use recreational drugs.

I was 14 or 15 when i started smoking, and about a week after i decided i'd buy myself a bong. I bought it online and when it was shipped to my house, my mom opened it. She was shocked at first because she had no idea, but she's completely fine with it. She paid for my very first trip to Amsterdam when I was 18 for my birthday present, and every christmas she buys me half an ounce. I love my mom

Don't be so quick to judge :3 Nurses are the ones that handle all the medicines and shit in hospitals, more so than doctors atleast. [editline]09:50PM[/editline] But meh.. we seem to have misunderstood each other. i wasn't saying that your mum (or gravy's dad for that matter) should only know more facts about the drug. of course, they should, they deal with lots of them, and i don't see why they wouldn't be informed about weed too. the point i was making was that medical people in general are just less biased than the ignorant masses and government-ordered propaganda-spouters of most of our respective parents. being less biased usually means, that sure, they may not like their children using them, but generally they're more open-minded and much less zealous. of all the doctors i know personally (that is, i know them from outwith being a doctor), every one of them has or currently uses drugs.

Both parents know I smoke weed and have taken 'shrooms. My dad was just like don't do it again or too much and my mum says i'm not allowed to smoke it in the house but she's gonna show me how to roll and roll L plates :3: Because i'm shit at them

I've smoked with my parents and my girlfriends parents. For what it's worth I guess I'm lucky. Not a one-time thing either, it's happened enough for it to no longer be awkward.

My parents caught me smoking weed a few months back (I'm 15). I promised I would quit and I did.......now I just drink a lot.

My dad told me to wait until I graduate high school until I start smoking cannabis. He said when that day rolls around he'll light up with me.

So, my moms a ex-pothead and every time my friends come over stoned she knows before they even speak. But when I come home stoned off my ass she cant tell:P... I don't know if she knows but doesn't care or if she really cant tell.
