Tell him you think it's wrong but don't report him, the moral implications of watching such things while bad is not fair ball to the damage it'll do if you report him.
Who watches porn in a park?
Also don't report him to the police. Just tell him it's illegal and he can get in tons of trouble if he gets caught.
no seriously, garry's right, ask him where he got it from.
busting him alone won't solve any problem for the kids involved, but if he got it from some shady website that actually produces this shit, it'd be better to have the fuzz tackle it instead
Ok, seriously, to everyone saying NOT to report him, do you understand how much child porn can traumatize the child? People don't seem to be able to grasp the concept that the stars of those videos and images are PEOPLE. It doesn't make you an asshole for reporting someone in possession of child porn, just think of how emotionally scarred the children in there are. He's getting his rocks off to that shit, and to anyone thinking that it prevents him from molesting children, it doesn't. All it does is make children seem like objects to the possible offender, making it MORE likely that an offense will occur.
Tl;dr, Report that fucker, child porn is traumatizing and increases likelihood of child molestation.
He dun goof'd

Inform him that he can get:
Several years in a state prison, not your friendly county jail.
Flagged as a sex offender, which will in turn grant:
-No job availability
-have to tell everyone that youre a convicted sex offender (LOL EMBARASSING!)
-cant live near a school of anytype. Which is a good thing for him.
Also, he can get his ass kicked/raped everyday in jail for the next 20-30years.

They are already traumatized, so the damage is already done, so anything after the first times is nothing different than the time before.
Erhm. Isn't it kinda obvious what to do...Call the police?
They are already traumatized, so the damage is already done, so anything after the first times is nothing different than the time before.
That's entirely bullshit logic. Especially in the case of children, seeing as they're still mentally developing, each instance of child pornography they partake in will impact their development, so the first instance will traumatize them, and each instance thereafter will deepen the damage done. So it basically makes the victim's mind harder to repair.

Damage is already done. Quit white knighting and raging over the fetishes, dysfunctions and atrocious behavior the human can exhibit.

All that it does is shorten their period of innocence, which will be completely destroyed by the 5th grade anyway.
Swastika - Bringing a new meaning to white knight.

Yeah, and I'm sure 5th grade can give you diagnosable post-traumatic stress disorder. /sarcasm

uh not that simple. See, their family member molested them. or a complete stranger in where they invested trust into. In turn, they got raped, molested, forced to do things that they didn't know any better too. In most cases, without their freewill.
So by 5th grade, they will have this problem. By 9th grade, they will still have it. By the time they graduated college, they will still have it, and lots of student loans to pay back.

They take this shit very seriously.
Don't call local contact the FBI this may uncover some fucked up CP ring. You might have a Fed interview you. Scary shit but its the right thing to do.

What problem? Getting raped?, on sure by the time their on 9th grade they will be strong enough to fight back.
Do you want to screw your friend up for life? Just get his phone and delete it after/before confronting him about it.
What problem? Getting raped?, on sure by the time their on 9th grade they will be strong enough to fight back.
The problem being the trauma of being molested as a child.

Youre either trolling or really stupid.

If their young enough to not be able to fight back then they wouldn't be able to remember it anyways.
