It's mainly the art being impressive, not the engine itself. He basically pre-rendered the lighting onto the textures. If he were to change the lighting in the scene, he'd have to redo almost all his textures. [editline]21st August 2011[/editline] Still, does look great.
Didn't look that great. They made lots of things shiny. I don't think I saw any bumpmapping and the textures were a bit low-res. The models on the kitchen sink were weird, low detail I guess. I did like the background :v:
Just goes to show, the more shiny you make something, the more real it looks. I kid.

But what you get in return are shadows that follow the lighting - pre-rendered of course.
How much does that house cost. I'm buying it.
