I'm sure if I was asking $2500 or even $5000 for it I would be called a bigot for asking so much. It's such a specialty item that does not have any alternate uses and requires hardware that pretty much never gets into non corporate hands.
It's like the guidance computer from an American Nuclear ICBM. It's only valueble to someone who actually has a use for it but otherwise its value is similar to the other scrap metal it's sitting next to in the back of the yard.

And even if it was, they don't usually have any internal memory (apart from cache).
The high-speed cameras that I've seen just dump a huge lump of data to a laptop.
