Its a laser. No seriously.
You know, I don't really know much about electronics, but wouldn't he know its not a laser because of the lack of laser diode assembly?
this is actually a prototype dinosaur. as you can tell, it didn't work out very well
It's tasty. I'll probably just replace the whole power jack with something I find at the local electronics shop.
Is this really you? I wish I had hair like yours. And do you wear a wrist watch?
I'm confused on why you took it apart.
Well, because if there was candy inside and he didn't take it apart, he would have never found the candy.
Well, because if there was candy inside and he didn't take it apart, he would have never found the candy.
That solves the mystery of what this is. It's obviously a piñata! :downs:
Now that I think about it, whatever happened to that gay furry guy you were thinking about moving in with?
He ended up going bankrupt before his apartment was scattered across Huntsville a month or so ago by a tornado. Instead I moved in with two scalies: One is dangerously overweight, has problems walking and refuses to get a job outside of playing Halo, and the other is a paranoid hippie who thinks everything is a government plot and is hell bent on making gas out of 100% ethanol extracted from hemp. Both equally insane but so long as they pay their share of the rent and bills, they can be within proximity to me. And do you wear a wrist watch?
Yes that's me, no you don't want my hair, especially in four years time as it's not seeing a trim until 2015. Watch is hidden by the camera. I bought it at wal-mart for $25 because my Timex died and it was either a new Timex or a new pair of pants.
$25 ? so great price.
More then our heatsinked lazer microscope camera that we have found. Anyhow OP what are you planing to do with it now?
More then our heatsinked lazer microscope camera that we have found. Anyhow OP what are you planing to do with it now?
Today's test day. I'll have access to the lab tools so I can power it up and see if a computer detects it.
If it does nothing when you power it up, lick each component until you find which one's shorting out. Broken components taste of lemons. Give any broken ones a whack with a small hammer and you should be good to go. Percussive maintenance fixes anything
Well, I can't test those drivers at all. I plugged it into the bench supply and it pegged the current limit at 5.7 amps and as a result started notching down the voltage. I was able to get it to initially get detected but after loading the PVcam drivers it was no longer being detected by the system which is no suprise as electronics tend to get cranky when they are missing nearly five volts out of twelve. I'll try again tonight when I can get the PSU for my Cintiq. It's 12V 9A. :science:
SUCCESS!! I realized that I could just use a PC power supply to feed the power I needed and low and behold, with the PVcam drivers worked. Now to recalibrate the gain controls and finally start figuring out what the hell this camera can do. The Driver itself yields no helpful names as it it seems to be using the base 1394 camera driver they supplied.
See how well it reacts to ultraviolet light or infrared.
Click on "collect 100 images" and then throw them in a zip file and UPLOAD
See how well it reacts to ultraviolet light or infrared.
What do I use as a UV source? The sun? Edit: lol, your automerge.
that is more than 4% i think
automerge manual edit just in case something else fucks up: whoa god damn you MIPS

Your face. :ohdear:
Are you gonna do it?
Camera is at the office. I'll really start messing with it tomorrow when I can recalibrate it and then start mesing with the other parts of the installed software besides the camera testing program.
Camera is at the office. I'll really start messing with it tomorrow when I can recalibrate it and then start mesing with the other parts of the installed software besides the camera testing program.
I want more pics of you. ASAP.
Your face. :ohdear:
He looks like he would make an awesome actor
Cut your hair OP Oh and shave
He looks like he would make an awesome actor
Holy fuck, he would. MIPS go become an actor. :v:
The optimism that you flagrantly display sickens me.
Your avatar looks like some kinda worm thing when you're no looking ąt it
SUCCESS!! I realized that I could just use a PC power supply to feed the power I needed and low and behold, with the PVcam drivers worked.
What are those black areas above your head?
Overexposed areas. Any area that is completely white is highlighted as a guide for adjusting lighting/exposure. Apparently I'm a gold member. How did that happen?
film yourself puking
