But ya, i remember the same thing from my past visit there. [editline]6th April 2011[/editline] automerge borked.
awesome place to hide dead hookers dude, digging your room
Hey Garry, where does that green door lead again? Could we get a picture?
There's pictures on the first page
That looks impressive, how long did it take to fit them?
I see you take a lot of interior photos of your progress. If you want to get serious about showing everything off, try getting a Sigma 10-20mm or 8-16mm. You can easily fit most of a room in their field of view, they're non-distorting and the 8 to 10 mm difference from most 18mm kit lenses is massive.
I've considered it, but the price is just crazy considering I'd be taking like 10 photos with it.
The Sigma 10-20 is over rated anyway. It's fun to play with, but it's not as sharp as it should be, and the real-world applications aren't that great. Just wondering - what system do you use, Garry? Nikon? Pentax? Canon? Olympus?
Slidey mirror wardrobes are scary as shit, I fell into my one before and the noise that was made was cringe worthy. Although the thing didn't even have a scratch. Are you only having the hanging rail or will you stick in some boxes for smaller clothes?
My camera is a cannon 450d, with stock lens and a longer 70-300mm lens. I'm not sure yet, I will probably get one of those shoe rail things and some drawers in there..
Awesome. Garry, are you sure you are programmer?
Awesome. Garry, are you sure you are programmer?
Because he can only have one specialty, and axiomatically it is interior design if not programming.
Fitted some LED's in the wardrobe. First time I've fitted a switch or anything. All makes sense really, pretty easy. Daaaaamn! Those dead hookers are going to look amazing with those LED lights glowing on them.
All that work, good job Garry :D Lookin top dollar in there! Kinda makes you wish you had your toolgun, doesn't it? Finished project in 30 seconds.
No they're only 12v I think. It has an adaptor on it.
No they're only 12v I think. It has an adaptor on it.
your wife stopped by and said that; that was in the closet
Oh, how silly of me. I assumed something was different because of your lightswitch.
it was a logical conclusion.
Garry, I think blackbird301 has something against you, page 2 has mass of 'dumbs' on your posts. I think he's jealous of how good of a handyman you are.
Carpet ordered, will be installed on Friday!
this looks pretty awesome after a month
This project is finished. I've got a couple of knocks and stuff to paint, but it's finished now. They fitted the carpet this morning. Turned up at 8AM, were gone by 9. Pretty good. I put my new bed together and moved all my stuff up there. Might have to change that. I got some awesome solar powered remote control blinds too.. They're blackout blinds.. Dayum. Nice room, Garry.
Those blinds are mighty strong.
can't the blinds go faster?
Gosh I wish I had the money you have to be able to do this.
This project is finished. I've got a couple of knocks and stuff to paint, but it's finished now.
Lookin good. Now you just need some self replacing Portal-able panels for walls.
can't the blinds go faster?
I don't see why'd you'd really need any faster, it looks pretty good moving slowly and smoothly.
Why are so many people reading this thread? [editline]22nd April 2011[/editline] Nice room by the way Garry
Same TV as mine! I'm also using it as my monitor.
