Can anyone explain what the 15 some odd pounds I've lost? And what the hell I actually lost?
Well if you lifted weights and didn't starve yourself those 15 pounds are mostly fat. Otherwise it's probably mostly muscle.
Well if you lifted weights and didn't starve yourself those 15 pounds are mostly fat. Otherwise it's probably mostly muscle.
I didn't starve myself, I didn't do much weight lifting though.

Okay What I think might be the problem is what do you drink? And how is your food prepared? Most importantly what is your target weight? A little more info would help. 1400 calories is very very little, in fact I eat more that that (I'm 121 pounds 5'5), I eat approximately 1800-1900 calories a day and I recommend bumping it up if you are only eating 1400 calories a day, but it would help even more if you just give as much info as possible and don't leave anything out.

Brah it was the same with me when I started exercising last summer. I lost 30 pounds and didn't think I looked any different, then I noticed a pair of shorts I hadn't worn in months just fell off, and wouldn't stay on me even buttoned. Seeing yourself every day makes the change so gradual, you won't notice it.

Fruits are Raw. Bread is toasted. I can't really think of much other. I do sometimes go over the 1400 calories a day, but days like that are days when I'm active as hell.

Skim milk is a no no because it is pasturized fat which isn't a good kind (complicated reasons why) plus skim milk in one serving which is 1 cup (a small milk carton) has 8% your daily value of fat just from drinking it now a class can be 2 of that and you are getting a large calorie intake just from what you drink. So hate to say it, but water from here on out.
Where am I supposed to get my Calcium? And Why no Diet pop?
get your calcium from lowfat cottage cheese or plain non-fat yogurt (has to be plain) and http://archives.secretsofthecity.com/magazine/blogs/beyond-cask/2008/02/diet-coke-will-make-you-fat-other-hard-truths There is just so much against diet pop don't drink it. Don't forget fruits and veggies, very important to have in your diet.
Are they going to actually sabatoge my diet if I drink them once in a while?
Are they going to actually sabatoge my diet if I drink them once in a while?
milk is okay once a day but pop is a definite no [editline]16th March 2011[/editline] milk: high source of protein, ONLY 8% daily fat like the guy said (who gives a fcuk lol that's pretty much nothing for how much protons it has)
are you guys shitting me??? diet soda is fine lmao
are you guys shitting me??? diet soda is fine lmao
I don't see how Diet pop isn't fine, it has nothing in it that gets converted to body fat. Quite frankly I don't give a shit what the studies say, and I don't care if the other things that are in it like aspartame is bad for you. It tastes good.
