I wonder if wow would benefit from going f2p by now even if I wouldn't condone it
Nah, it still got at least a few years on it before that'll be the case
Five and a half million subscribers is still a shitton, even if it isn't quite twelve million.

I'd rather not, since blizzard is really bad at micro transactions, just take a glance at heroes of the storm
next expansion will be [sp]world of warcraft: lich[/sp]
with the crypt lord hero class
They're just going to feed off the nostalgia of WoW. And people will still eat this up.
Considering Warlords of Draenor, which already appealed to nostalgia, tanked quite hard and couldn't hold its subscribers for even a full year, I doubt this is going to work all that well.

I don't know about the heroes of the storm prices, but just look at WoW itself. 25 fucking dollars for a mount, one of them even costs $30.
Maybe they will actually fill this expansion with content for people to do that isn't raiding and grinding for gear after the first month
Man they just wont let go of the Burning Legion

Why would they? They're literally the biggest bads of the Warcraft universe. When the legion and Sargeras is destroyed, that's pretty much the end of Warcraft.
