"Upgrade to windows 7 and we will stop raping orphans"
Please note: "Feeding America", personaly I think that charity should go to people who don't even have a government that can help them, like Sierra Leone. In the U.S. the government should take care of all this.
Seriously, People still use IE?
I thought we all ditched that back in 2006 ?
It's either Firefox or Safari these days.
Safari = no...
Its Firefox, Chrome and Opera now
Even if you feed whole africa, I am not upgrading, that's how bad IE is
Just play www.freerice.com instead. That way you can end world hunger AND get something worthwhile for your time.
In the time I could have been downloading Internet Explorer, I donated 110 grains of rice to a good cause.
I was doing that with the greasemonkey script that auto answers, about 5,000 grains later I asked my self why I am wasting my bandwidth for this and closed it.
I remember I got the script because there was a giant thread on it a few years ago and we were all competing over who had the most rice...
Downgrade*
The solution to the problem is to use opera.
Yep, and it's more stable. IE sucks.
Yep, and it's more stable. IE sucks.
Everything is more stable
Oh come on, they're not even trying.
so lemme get this straight, they withhold food from STARVING people, until WE upgrade to IE8?
Thats rediculous.
Freerice.com is also ridiculous because they could just send an infinite supply of rice to the poor, too?
You see these kinds of campaigns for product every day - "10 cents per purchase go to charity!" - it's just the fact that MSFT is doing this that makes you bitch and moan about it. If it were some other company, you wouldn't give a damn.
Everything is more stable
The Chernobyl nuclear reactor is more stable than IE.

Freerice uses the money they make from the ads on the site to pay for the rice. They couldn't send an infinite amount.
Yet another sad attempt from M$ to get us to upgrade/use their shit web browser. I would upgrade, only to get it to stop nagging me, but my virus-riddled, soon-to-be-replaced, 6-year-old POS won't let me. Oh fucking well. Ill just keep my actually slightly faster IE7. (And my much faster chrome)
Install Windows 7 and no children will get hurt :cop:
upgrade to ie8 and we won't fire a huge laser beam at the capitol buliding
[editline]06:00PM[/editline]
apparently i'm using ie8
oh what
FF/Opera is better though.
I like how it makes microsoft not look evil.

Download the FreeRice Cheat for greasemonkey. Win!
Funfact: Children in Africa can eat IE7
What is funny is, everyone is calling Microsoft assholes - but none of you realize they have the Gates Foundation and they donate absurd amounts of money to it.
Also don't bitch and moan if you don't donate or do anything.
More like downgrade, am I right here?
Can microsoft not accept that nobody likes their shitty browser? They have to bribe people with competitions and feeding black people.

They don't have the money. They need you to be on the site to watch the ads, and the ads make money for the rice.
Microsoft doesn't need to make any money from the browser to feed them. Bill gates is one of the most rich people in world. I am pretty sure he could feed them for free :downs:
Wait... Feeding America? Noooooo! Don't upgrade! They don't need any more!

troll
Hmm... I think this would help "push" my school to upgrade to IE8. I mean for fuck's sake, we upgraded to Microsoft Office 2007, yet we still have IE6. It just doesn't make any sense.
