• If you upgrade to IE8 you feed poor people

I do believe that IE8 was a waste of un-valuable harddrive space.
Thank god that in Windows 7 you can remove nearly all of it.
So basically they're holding poor people hostage?
Bill gates is one of the most rich people in world. I am pretty sure he could feed them for free :downs:
How dense are you? It's kind of funny how everyone is missing the point - do you honestly think that all rich corporations should give money to charity as much as you wish? This is exactly like any other promotion - "get our new product, we'll feed poor people". It's ridiculous to claim that they are "holding food" from starving people. How is it any more OK in your eyes when some other company does something similar? Do you really imagine that Microsoft has some sort of feeding squad in a homeless shelter, denying to give the food out because you didn't update your browser?
More like downgrade, am I right here?
While IE still sucks, you still don't have any reason not to upgrade to IE8 - especially since it *is* more standards compliant, and the newest version of the browser.
Freerice uses the money they make from the ads on the site to pay for the rice. They couldn't send an infinite amount.
And nor could Microsoft...
You may as well do it, all you have to do is update/download, don't even have to use it.
Everyone knows Blackbird is the best, it fills all my African American needs.
Even if you feed whole africa, I am not upgrading, that's how bad IE is
Now thats selfish Im sure it'd be easy enough to upgrade to IE8 and not have it as your default browser
Google Chrome > Opera > Firefox > IE > Blackbird (Cause the whole thing is full of what Oprah did today, or that Obama has been elected)
so they've got the power to feed them... but wait for people to upgrade....
What they're implying is They don't give a shit about the poor people. They just want people to use their browser.
