Fucking Hugh Jackson if anyone. He is fucking awesome.
Brad Pitt? Seriously? How the fuck are you going to get a big actor like Brad Pitt to lower himself to an item of plebeian dross such as a video game film. It also doesn't deserve a movie.
Fucking Hugh Jackson if anyone. He is fucking awesome.
*Hugh Jackman?
I vote Hugh Jackman too.
i vote mr. t
I don't think it would work
Clint Eastwood... too bad he's an old cripple...
Because all old people are crippled. :downs:
If true. Fuck yea. :coolfish:
I've seen a generic western film before, what will make this one so special
H U G H J A C K S O N!!! Lol.... jackson...
Personally, I think that RDR would make a better Television Show than movie. If they did a film, there is no way that could put in everything from the game in the movie, and with a TV show, they can stretch it out to be just right. But if it was a TV show, it would have to be on some channel like AMC, Starz, HBO, or Showtime.
Clint Eastwood... too bad he's an old cripple...
Landon Ricketts.
This makes about as much sense as a l4d movie or a GTA movie. L4D would be standard zombie fair, GTA your average mob movie, and RDR an average cowboy movie.
I sense a career-sinker for Pitt.
This movie has already been made. Except it had a different title...what was it...oh yeah, it was called EVERY WESTERN MOVIE TO COME OUT IN THE LAST 50 YEARS [editline]07:16PM[/editline] Seriously, has no one ever seen High Plains Drifter?
If they are planning on following the story then brad pitt just wouldn't fit, christian bale... meh maybe, i just dont like some of his acting. Russel Crowe? no, hugh jackman no. what about robert downy jr?
Downey.
Everyone is naming big actors, though personally I think someone less widely known would be better for the role of Marston. I'm not sure who, but I'm sure if auditions were held they would yield positive results and someone who potentially could be more suited for the role.

Half life 2 is one "if not the best" games in the world and it's series isn't even half way done, yet this series gets a move on its first first real game?
Brad Pitt in WWZ and now this. Can't wait to see how it turns out.
Half life 2 is one "if not the best" games in the world and it's series isn't even half way done, yet this series gets a move on its first first real game?
Valve doesn't want anyone else to make a half-life 2 movie anyway and even if they did Hollywood just chooses games with clichéd plots instead of those with original ones. Hence Kane and Lynch, Doom and Max Payne.
It seems as if people often hate on people that are very popular, such as Miley Cyrus, and Justin Bieber, and now Brad Pitt. The difference between the aforementioned, and the latter, is that Brad Pitt is a very good actor, and he's already acted as a cowbow before, in The Murder of Jesse James, or something. I think he'd fit.
The guy from the Big Lebowski would make a good Landon Ricketts His name is Sam Elliott, if you look on google images the guy's a spitting image.
That's like dead on Landon Ricketts. [editline]10:19PM[/editline] Jim Broadbent for Nigel West Dickens. Or Gene Hackman, either one's a good N.W. Dickens.

It definitely deserves a movie, if it can actually be made well and not turned into a pile of shit.
Half life 2 is one "if not the best" games in the world and it's series isn't even half way done, yet this series gets a move on its first first real game?
Because originality is considered an infectious disease in Hollywood. I wouldn't want a Half-Life movie anyway. Possibly a sci-fi movie in a similar universe, but a direct adaptation would just ruin the game.
[IMG_thumb]http://www.spiritofthebear.com/Clint/10001877.jpg[/IMG_thumb]
Ah, if only he were still young enough to play the role.
The storyline for RDR was brilliant, and very well written. Even if it was, and you can somehow adapt a video game script for a movie, there'd still be no point because, as Publius said, it would be redundant in the face of every other western out there. Should we treat making a movie adaptation out of something as some sort of award?
Western movies are old in my oppinion.
